Villa Dona Ana is a modern and tastefully furnished 2 bedroom town house situated in the heart of Tavira in a small quiet condominium close to the Ermida Do São Brás Church.

The villa is situated on a secure complex. Upon parking your car in the private bay the front door leads into a ground floor reception room with a sofa and large french windows that lead out on to a terrace with a brick built bbq and a table with 4 chairs for some wonderful al fresco dining. The terrace looks out onto a lovely little private garden with a lawn and borders of flowers and plants. At the bottom of the garden is a gate that leads to a path for access to the pool.

The reception also has a small shower room with a toilet and then traditional tiled steps lead to the large open plan first floor living area.

Two comfortable chairs face a wonderful log burner for those cosy winter evenings and a large sofa faces the television with e selection of European channels. Towards the kitchen is a large dining table with 6 chairs and then a door leads through into a fabulous large and well equipped kitchen with a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The cupboards are well stocked with pots, pans, plate and cutlery so everything you would expect from a well stocked kitchen ready to cook and prepare some wonderful meals using the lovely fresh produce form the local markets. The kitchen is also spacious enough to have an island with two stools to watch the cook at work with a glass on vinho verde in hand!

From the living area two french windows open up onto a large terrace that look down onto the garden and Tavira and here you will find a table and chairs to sit and relax. The windows also bring a little of the wonderful Algarve weather in offering the open plan space lots of natural light. Also on this floor is a small cloakroom.

Up again leads to the bedrooms. The large master bedroom offers a kingsize bed. The bedroom has air conditioning and plenty of wardrobe space and again large french windows that opens up onto a terrace that is shared with the twin room. The ensuite bathroom offers a full size bath with overhead shower along with a basin, toilet and bidet.

The second bedroom has twin beds and air conditioning along with plenty of storage space again. Large french windows lead onto the shared terrace thats also has a lovely wooden pergola with a sail type effect to shade from the sun making it a wonderful relaxing spot to start your day. Also at this level is a shower room with a basin and toilet.

The house is beautifully furnished and well loved by the owners. Everything has been thought of to make your holiday a wonderful experience.

The shared pool is a converted antique Portuguese well and wonderful unusual and a super feature for the villa. The grounds of the complex are totally enclosed offering privacy and tranquility.

You are 5 mins walk away from the lively town centre which hosts a great selection of good restaurants and cafes and ferry boat access to the Isla de Tavira Island beach.

To secure your holiday with us we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price followed by the remainder of the payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Upon full payment and completion of the booking form we will end you meeting arrangments, directions and a comprehensive pack of information on the local area.

We can supply Euro and a sterling bank account for payments although if you wish to pay by credit/debit card we are able to provide you with an invoice using Paypal. You will not need to have a Paypal account to use this facility.

We require a damage bond and this is dealt with by way of a credit card slip with credit/debit card details of any person booked into the property.  If a card is not avaliable then the payment must be in cash and this will be returned via bank transfer once the holiday is over and upon reciept of bank details.

The holiday price includes a mid stay linen change every 7 days for stays of 14 nights or more.

Bed linen, bath and hand towels along with beach/pool towels are provided within the holiday cost. 

WIFI is included but may incur an extra charge please confirm that WIFI is included within the cost of your holiday.

We operate a strict arrival and departure time limit especailly during the summer months.  Arrival is after 1600 and departure is before 1000. For arrivals we are happy to meet you at the property after 1000 to drop baggage etc but then entry can not be gained until after 1600 to allow the cleaners to prepare the property to the exceptionally high standard that we at Mars Algarve pride ourselves upon. Departure is strictly before 1000 and failure to depart on time without prior arrangment will result in a financial charge.

Upon arrival you will be met by one of the very helpful Mars Algarve Team they will hand over the keys to your holiday home and take the time to show you the property and tell you about any local information and answer any questions you may have. The Mars Algarve team will then be on hand during your holiday for any issues that may arise.

Before you arrive, we will send you our new guest online welcome book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday property, the local area and has all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. The online book gives you a real insight and allows you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. This also gives you the guest the opportunity to take the book with you wherever you go on your smartphone or tablet, maximising your holiday experience.

Great apartment at great location ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Starting with the location, Villa Dona Ana is really close to everything you need to be close to in Tavira. The area is nice and quiet, and the villa (it's actually more a town house/apartment) is kind of hidden, a few minutes walk from restaurants, supermarkets and the main square. You have a small privat garden - very neatly kept - and access to a shared pool. We never used the latter, as it was too cold, but looked decent enough. The villa has three floors, with 4 bathrooms to go with the 2 bedrooms! Maybe a bit excessive, but why not? The kitchen is extremely well equipped, clean and a pleasure to work at. The stove, the dishwasher, the refrigerator - everything seemed brand new. Also, we really appreciated that there was detergents, cling film and what have you available, so that we didn't have to buy everything from scratch at arrival. So was everything perfect? Well, maybe, but you could always make the lighting in the kitchen and living room a bit more pleasant, maybe by adding a dimmer or two. And the furniture was all new and functioning, but not to my taste. But all in all, the apartment seemed more or less newly refurbished, and the over-all impression was great. We definitely recommend it!
