Our simply stunning 3 bedroom apartment located on the popular Village Marina Complex offers exceptional modern living in an old and mostly untouched old fishing port with stunning island beaches and a wonderful eclectic mix of residents.
Apartment Sonho is located within a building similar modern apartments no higher than 4 levels. There are 8 apartments each block. Access to the building is controlled by intercom for each apartments or with a key. Once inside the building opens up into a pleasant lobby with either stairs or the use of 2 lifts to the upper floors.
Our 3 bedroom apartment as on the third floor and has a nice light wood solid front door that is secured with an excellent 5 lever locking system. Once inside Apartment Sonho the light and fresh lobby leads to all the rooms.
First on the left and via large glass and wood framed double doors in the living space.
Double doors lead into a huge light, spacious and welcoming, open plan living space.
By the doors is a large ultra stylish and modern grey wood dining table, 4 matching grey fabric and chrome chairs and a matching bench seat. This makes a great family dining space and is nice and close to the kitchen.
Adding style and pleasant features to this space is a smart
white lacquer shelf unit decorated with a large pebble themed lamp
sideboard to match the dining table. Some ornaments have been placed on the top to add interest and below is shelving and cupboards for the holiday games, books and magazines.
Above the dining table is a lovely modern lighting feature and directly in front of the table is massive french sliding windows that give access to a small terrace and views of the Village Marina Complex and gardens. The windows allow in an abundance of light ad when open that wonderful warm Algarve breeze. They are decorated with gorgeous silver Jacquard curtains hanging form large smart chrome poles.
The french windows have the added feature of electric shutters, these make a fantastic addition to the room as in the summer they can be kept closed during the day t help keep the apartment nice and cool for your return after a day on the beach or maybe some sightseeing.
Passing the ding table the living place opens up again into an area with the sofa and television. Again large french windows overlook this space and have the beautiful matching curtains and the featured electric shutters. The dual aspect of the windows really gives a feeling of the outside coming in and that wonderful warm sun making you feel happy and on holiday. They make for a beautiful living space to thoroughly enjoy.
The sofa is a smart and contemporary smoke grey fabric corner
decorated with matching scatter cushions. There is an option of a matching foot stall and a nest of white lacquer and chrome coffee tables, making sure you will be comfortable in elegant and modern 3 bedroom apartment at all times.
A super large flat screen smart television sits on a television unit thats matches the dining table and sideboard making sure the them of the room flows well.
The television is set up with a selection of European channels to suit all Nationalities. The smart feature is great for allowing those extra features and the wifi in the apartment is fibre so excellent for streaming your favourite tv programmes.
The living room is equipped with an up to date and modern air conditioning unit on the wall. It offers lovely fresh cool air on those hot summer months and also warm cosy air for the cooler winter evenings.
Being a modern and with modern features our 3 bedroom apartment is a fantastic accommodation choice any time of the year.
The kitchen in this 3 bedroom apartment is magnificent. It is exceptionally well equipped with every small details considered. Being a new and modern 3 bedroom apartment the kitchen is fully fitted with up to date integral appliances.
In a galley style there are bank of fitted kitchen cupboards and drawers each side of the room. You will find an integral fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Along with a fitted microwave and eye level electric oven. Set in to the black marble work surface is a chrome double sink and mixer tap and a brushed chrome hob with a mix of electric and gas rings. Above is a contemporary extractor fan in matching chrome.
We have provided a kettle toaster and capsule coffee machine. Inside the drawers and cupboards you will find they are well stocked with plates, bowls and a variety of crockery, Cutlery and a good selection of cooking utensils, mugs, glasses, pots, pans, serving dishes and too much more to list.
The pale green floor tiles, cream walls and cream back splash tiles, match perfectly with the modern light wood and white kitchen units making this an open and light work space.
A glass door at the end of the kitchen lets in light and fresh air assisting with making the kitchen a peasant place to be whilst cooking up a storm using the local produce form the famous daily markets of Olhao.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Our 3 bedroom apartment has 3 excellent sized bedrooms and can very comfortably sleep 6 persons.
Starting with the master bedroom that is the last bedroom at the end of the 3 bedroom apartment hallway.
This room offers a large king size bed and is beautifully made with crisp fresh white linen and decorated with soft, mute creams, greys and rich brown stylings. A large soft fabric headboard in a grey/oatmeal brown gives a touch of opulence to the bed and the cushions and throw make it feel very inviting. Each side of the bed is bedside units with matching lamps and drawers. to one side is a matching chest of drawers and a top thats can be used as a dressing table. This has a silver 3 dimension mirror too.
The flooring is soft laminate and the walls cream giving a calm feel to the room. A door style window lets in plenty of natural light and is dressed with a white curtain pole and flowing white patterned curtains. Those all important electric shutters have also been installed and offer a nice cool and dark room at night. An air conditioning unit offers cool and warmth depending on the time of year.
The master bedroom of our fantastic 3 bedroom apartment has the luxury of an en suite bathroom to enjoy. An internal door leads to a smart en suite with cream floor times and aqua green wall tiles surrounding a full size bath with an over head shower and glass screen. A beautiful aqua green glass basin is set into a wooden and floating vanity unit with cupboards underneath for those toiletries, cosmetics and summer essentials. Next to each other is a toilet and bidet. The fittings are up to date chrome. We have added some toilet paper and hand soap to get you started on your self catering holiday.
The second bedroom offers a large kingsize bed made with freshly laundered sheets and an attractive grey and white check quilt. The head board is in a very light grey studded cushioned fabric and each side of the bed is light grey and white end side units with white matching lamps and cupboards underneath. A chest of drawers matches the units and bed and a small stool is placed under a full length mirror set in a pretty silver frame.
White flowing curtains set on a white curtain pole surround the floor to ceiling opening window adding to the dreamy and relaxing them of this bedroom. The window has that all important shutter. There is also the air conditioning unit for either cool or warmth.
The last bedroom is laid out with 2 large single beds. Staying with the light pastel colours that work throughout the 3 bedroom apartment this room has white cushioned headboards, white bedside units and a chest of matching drawers. Those wonderful white pattered flowing curtains over the floor to ceiling window with the all important shutters. The air con unit is in place on the wall offering a comfortable temperature to the room.
The beds have wonderful quilts with fun, different coloured tassels and matching pillows that add a touch of vibrancy and animation to the bedroom. A large silver framed mirror hangs on the wall and picture again bring some colour and vibrancy to the room.
We have made sure the beds are well made and offer a really good and comfortable nights sleep. Each guest will find a soft white bath and hand towel along with a pool/beach towel to enjoy.
The bathroom at our 3 bedroom apartment is styled with cream floor tiles and metallic chocolate brown wall tiles giving a touch of richness to the space. It offers a large glass walk in shower with chrome mixer fittings. That lovely aqua green basin set again into a vanity floating unit with storage space below. Then an toilet and bidet. Above the vanity unit is a super large mirror and shaving socket.
In the hallway of Apartment Sonho out side each bedroom you will find fitted wardrobes with sliding doors and smart internal automatic lighting.
This 3 bedroom apartment has a small outside terrace where we have placed a little coffee table and 2 chairs. Its a perfect little spot to enjoy watching the sun go down and also you can catch glimpses of the Ria Formosa lagoons. This little piece of heaven is accessed form the ding space and via the french windows.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
Apartment Sonho this superb 3 bedroom apartment at third floor level is set right in the heart of Village Marina Complex. Village Marina offers quality and modern apartments set isn pleasant and functional surroundings. The roads outside the apartments only feed the apartments and are set in traditional calcada stones. Rows of parking spaces offer plenty of parking for cars and between this are areas of gardens laid to lawn and a variety fo shrubs and trees. The whole area is well kept and a pleasant place to be.
The all important swimming pool for the summer months is located on the roof top. It is accessed either by and internal stair case or the lifts. A special key only for resident opens a door on to the wooden decked and stone work terraces where you will find sun loungers you can use.
The swimming pool is all one depth and offers easy access steps at one end. It makes for a wonderful place to enjoy a cool dip after sunbathing in that beautiful Algarve summer sun we all desire. The terraces are very spacious and you can either sit by the pool or find a quieter spot to maybe enjoy some summer reading.
The roof terraces at Marina Village offer some of the most spectacular views in Olhao. They all look out to the ocean and the Caribbean like islands of the Ria Formosa. So beautiful they are now protected for us and generations to to to enjoy.
As you enter the complex of Marina Village the first two apartment buildings belong to the hotel and below is shops, bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy.

Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.
The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at email@example.com.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome Book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans
Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us.
To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption.
We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Children and Babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

My family have just stayed in the Sonho apartment for a long weekend to celebrate my mums 70th birthday . There were 5 of us including two teenagers . The apartment was fantastic and catered to all our needs . It was extremely spacious and the decor was all fabulous . The beds were amazing and so comfortable. It had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea where we relaxed in the afternoon after a days sight seeing . Having two well stocked bathrooms is essential with 4 women so we were all happy . We ate in the apartment one night , all of the kitchen appliances were easy to use , we also enjoyed the large TV with an amazing array of channels ! In the morning we enjoyed the napresso machine for a quick morning coffee before setting off . The roof top pool was fabulous and quiet and we had it all to ourselves with comfortable loungers to enjoy aswell as inflatables for our girls to enjoy in the pool . The pool wasn't as cold as we were expecting in May ! . The surrounding restaurants and little islands are amazing and easy to get to . We had hired a car as my mum had difficulty walking far however everything you need is within 10 mins walk so we really didn't need the car . The local restaurants were fabulous and inexpensive. We did visit the local waterpark in Quarteira which was amazing and reasonably priced . We even had access to a cool bag so took our cold drinks with us . This apartment was amazing and I would definitely recommend to families or groups of friends / couples . It has everything you need and more . We will definitely be back !!
Myself and 4 girlfriends stayed in this beautiful apartment in June for a long weekend. The apartment is stunning and all furnishing of the highest quality.
With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there was plenty of room for us all. The kitchen is spacious and plenty of room to make your meals and loads of storage in a large fridge for essentials (wine of course). There are great views of the sea from the apartment and was lovely to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the peace and quiet.
The apartment is a short walk to the centre of the beautiful Olhao where there are lovely restaurants and bars. We visited the Fish Market and the Fruit Market on the Saturday morning which was a great experience. I understand the markets are on most mornings. We also took a boat taxi to two of the islands off the coast of Olhao - a must do when you are there. We had an amazing holiday and we couldn't recommend this apartment enough. We can't wait to go back next year!
