Description

Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Sereno is a beautifully furnished 3 bedroom apartment at 3rd floor level with facilities to include WIFI, air con and a shared roof top swimming pool with stunning views. Close to the fabulous Town Centre of Olhao

Apartment Sereno is an amazing 3 bedroom apartment located at the higher level floor of the Marina Village resort.  It offer spacious living for 6 persons with outside space to enjoy either by the private balconies or the shared space on the rooftop with the swimming pool, not forgetting the simply fabulous views of the Olhao islands and sea.

Apartment Serenos sister apartment Sonho is right next door, making this a great extended family holiday choice. Both are located at 3rd floor level.

Entrance

Each apartment is located within a small block of 8 apartments over 4 floors. An intercom operated door gives access to the lobby and in turn either an intense stair case or a choice of 2 lifts give access to the upper floors and roof terrace.

The front door to the 3 bedroom apartment offers a good secure lock and one up into a hallway from which all the rooms of the 3 bedroom apartment are located.

Living space

The living room is the first room to be found after entering this 3 bedroom apartment, a light wood and glass door leads into the living space. Huge siding French windows open up onto a private terrace overlooking the Town of Olhao. The windows are dressed with simple but stylish white curtains and shutter are a great feature to keep the room nice and cool in the hot summer months. 

To the left is a long light wood and white sideboard the offers a large flat screen smart television.  The internet is supplied by fibre so you are guaranteed a great speed.   To the right is a smart modern sofa and coffee table along with a retro style bucket chair and footstool.  The furnishing are kept light and pleasant to suit all tastes.

Passing the living room is another set of French windows leading to the same balcony.  Here you will find a really nice white and glass round table with ultra modern white dining chairs.  A huge colourful picture hangs from the wall to add a touch of vibrancy to the roo and shelves with ornaments give it a great homely feel. 

The living space offers air conditioning that can be used to warm or cool, depending on the time of year you choose to stay with us. The small touches to the room give a lovely simple but luxurious feel to the space. 

Kitchen

The next room from the hallway is the kitchen. Along the left wall is a bank of fitted kitchen cupboards and an integrated brushed chrome microwave and eye level electric oven.  Hidden her too is a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Directly ahead is a glass door that's leads to a laundry/storage room.  We have added a cloths dryer, iron and ironing board and some cleaning utensils.  and large windows make sure plenty of natural light enters the kitchen space. To the right is another set of fitted kitchen units, all very well stocked as you would expect in any family kitchen. The units are a mix of light wood and white and set upon them is a very smart black marble work surface.  Set within the marble is an electric ceramic hob with a brushed chrome extractor above. On the side you will find a kettle, coffee machine and toaster too. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The bedrooms are separated from the rest of the 3 bedroom apartment by a door so the sleeping area can stay nice and quiet for those with younger children maybe?

Once through the door another hallway gives access to all the rooms.  First on the right is a family bathroom with a shower cubicle surrounded by glass, a smart green glass basin set into a vanity unit and a super large over head mirror. There is also a toilet. Directly opposite the family bathroom is soem fitted wardrobes too, adding an extra dimension of storage to the homely 3 bedroom apartment.

Next along the hall on on the right is the first bedroom.  Laid with a modern double bed and smart white headboard.  Matching units sit each side with small white bedside lamps.  In the corner is a small chair. And behind set on the wall a long mirror French windows open up onto a balcony and electric shutters keep it secure and cool.  The bedroom is simply furnished but stylish and with all you need. Opposite the 1st bedroom and in the hallway agin is fitted wardrobes with sliding doors.

The second bedroom is also to the right and laid out with a kingsize bed.  White accessories again are fitted with the headboard, side table and lamps, Vibrant pictures add colour to the bedroom.  Along white framed mirror hangs on the wall and shuttered doors also give access to the balcony.

At the end of the hall is the master bedroom with an ensure bathroom. This room is exceptionally spacious and makes for a fabulous finish to this amazing 3 bedroom apartment.  The king size bed is soft and comfortable and made with freshly laundered linen form our own private laundry. Little extras includes a chest of drawers and a dressing table on top, a bucket style armchair and doors to the balcony. Again very simple but very stylish.

The en suite bathroom is smart and stylish with a mix of aqua blue tiles and soft wooded flooring.  It offers a full size bath and overhead shower. An aqua green glass basin set into a floating vanity unit, a toilet and bidet. Over the basin is a large well lit mirror and in the vanity unit is plenty of space to store all you holiday toiletries and cosmetics. 

Private Terraces

From the living room and dining room 2 sets of huge floor to ceiling sliding French windows open up onto a private balcony that overlooks Olhao.  A glass balustrade adds a touch of style and safety! We have added some chairs to sit and enjoy the morning sunshine.  We have also added an outside dining table and chairs and smart, fresh white and glass.

From all 3 bedrooms another same balcony can be used and agin is really nice for the morning sunshine, great to remember you are on holiday whilst you watch everyone else go about their day. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool. 

By far the best thing about Marina Village is the roof terraces and swimming pools. Head up to the roof terrace either by the lift or stairs and enjoy the utterly amazing 360 views on offer. Check out the undulating mountains behind Olhao, simply fantastic to watch as the sun sets each evening.  Or across the the beautiful island of Olhao, Culatra, Farol, Armona and Deserta. Watch the tide rise and wane and all the different scenery that brings, you will never fail to get bored. 

The swimming pool is certainly a fabulous feature in the summer and is great for a quick cool down dip pr for the children to enjoy the novelty of a holiday swimming pool. There are soem sun loungers for all guest to share.

Surrounding the apartment blocks is off street parking for all to use.  Gardens are laid with local shrubs and trees and the x+complex is well kept and pleasure to reside on. 

There are some shops, restaurants and cafes within the complex. 

Facilties

Apartment Sereno is an exceptionally well equipped and modern 3 bedroom apartment. Each room offers air conditioning that can be set to warm or cool. Wifi can be obtained throughout the whole 3 bedroom apartment. The furnishing are stylish and modern and the kitchen as you would expect to find in a family home.

The roof terrace and swimming poll really add a touch of luxury to your holiday home.

The resort is close to the Town centre and se front, so the location is simply perfect for a holiday base.  There is not need for a car as there is a train station and bus station nearby.  Everything you could need is an easy walking distance including boots for the braces on the islands.

Our lovely 3 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Sereno. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

     

    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at info@marsalgarve.com.

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

     

    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

     

    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

      

    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
