Apartment Pimenta is a fabulous 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment positioned in the well established Marina Village Resort of Olhao. Just a short walk for the boats to the beaches, the seafront and town centre this apartment makes a great holiday base with modern facilities and the added extra of a roof top pool with amazing sea views.

Apartment Pimenta is a wonderfully spacious 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment at Village Marina. A resort of smart, modern apartments. The communal roof top pool offers a great place to enjoy the fantastic Algarve sunshine and take in the stunning views across to the Olhao islands and beaches. Come to all amenities you really do not need a car to stay here and Olhao offers a truly local holiday experience. 


Apartment Pimenta is one of 8 apartment accused by a main front door, once inside the elegant lobby area, either an internal staircase or a choice of 2 lifts gives you access to the upper floors and roof top terrace.  Each for house 2 apartments. Ours is located at 1st floor level. 

Once through the solid front door the 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment opens up into a hallway and directly to lovely glass and wood double doors into the living space. 

Living Space

Double doors that can be fully opened give you entry into the particularly spacious living area. Placed to the rear of the space and as you enter the living room is a large rustic pine table and 3 matching chairs. This means the dining area is nice and close to the kitchen. 

Along the front of the living room is huge wall to wall sliding glass doors leading to a private balcony. Dominating the front of the living space is a lovely large soft fabric chocolate brown sofa and a matching arm chair. Centrally placed is a coffee table to match the dining set and against one wall is matching tv unit. Set on the unit is a large flat screen television offering a selection of European channels. The living space is very natural and welcoming. The light walls and modern laminate floor reminds you it is a comfortable and modern apartment.  The air conditioning unit set on the wall offers a suer fresh and cool atmosphere during the ht summer months but it can also be converted to provided a lovely warm feel in the cooler water evenings. This is why our 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment is a great holiday choice any time of the year. 

The French windows really help to bring the outside in and when open fully add a whole new space with the balcony. They are fitted with modern electric shutters for your comfort and styled with dark chocolate voile curtains to add a touch of homeliness to the living room. 


Placed at the front of this 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment the kitchen is a separate room and offers a very well equipped facility for your holiday cooking.

The kitchen is totally fitted with fashionable units and all the appliances are fitted within the units. You will find a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, eye level oven, microwave and a brushed chrome hob with both electric and gas rings. Overhead is an extractor unit too. The black marble work surface is simply practical but also stunning to look at. Here we have placed a coffee machine thats use capsules, kettle and a toaster. 

The cupboards are well stocked with crockery, cutlery and all the cooking and serving items you may need during you stay and as you would expect for any family kitchen. 

Bedroom and Bathroom

At the end of the hallway and facing towards the Town is the huge bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. 

Set against one wall is a lovely large kingsize bed with natural pine matching bedside cupboards along with pretty matching reading lamps. All long one wall is fabulous massive fitted wardrobes with sliding doors, when opened interior light automatically start giving that real touch of luxury! You will find huge amounts of space to stop all your holiday belongings.

Facing to catch the morning sun is 2 floor to ceiling windows bit the shutters, just perfect to keep closed for that summer holiday lie in, but also they help to keep the apartment nice and cool in the hot summer months.  Both have lovey flowing gentle voile curtains to soften the room. 

A fabulous feature of our 1 bedroom, 1st for apartment is the en suite bathroom.  A door for the bedroom opens up into a good size bathroom decorated in cream floor tiles and aqua glass wall tiles. The en suite is ultra modern and a super fresh clean bathroom. Fitted with white ceramic details it includes a toilet, bidet and bath with an overhead shower. The aqua glass basin is set on top of a vanity cupboard offering great storage, then overhead is a super large mirror. 

Our 1 bedroom 1st floor apartment also has the added extra of a guests toilet just as you enter the apartment on the right.

Private Balcony

A great added bonus with this 1 bedroom, 1st floor apartment is the private balcony. Set to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun it is an amazing place to have a quiet day relaxing, reading and taking in the wonderful Algarve atmospheres. The balcony is a good size and easily fits sun loungers and an outside dig table and chairs. Why not enjoy some alfresco dining on the balcony maybe watch the sun set before heading out to dinner? 

The balcony is slightly enclosed so again Apartment Pimenta is a fabulous all year around holiday choice. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

To enjoy the swimming pool take the stairs or lift up to the top floor and the door opens out onto a fantastic roof terrace the length on the building. Here you will be delighted with some stunning scenery and the chance to enjoy the ever changing vistas of the sea. This can also be a birdwatchers paradise with many varieties of birds enjoying the salt flats, including Flamingos. But for those wishing to relax by the pool this space offers a gorgeous pool overlooked by sun loungers for your use.

The Marina Village complex has some well maintained garden areas and beds the road and parking bays are styled with the traditional calcada cobbles. There is plenty of parking at the complex.

Also situated in the Marina Village is a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Be delighted by the tapas bar and steakhouse. Plus a pancake house, traditional barber, Irish bar with various sports matches playing on the tv's along with a pleasant coffee house overlooking the bay.


Besides all the modern touches inside the apartment including air conditioning in all rooms, fitted wardrobes, shutters on the windows, wifi and modern kitchen appliances. Apartment Pimeneta also has the added luxuries of a swimming pool to share with other residents set upon the roof of the building with decked terraces and amazing views over the Ria Formosa and sea. Along with off road parking and lifts to the upper floors. 

Village Marina is set very close to the old Town Canter of Olhao and the daily markets tats are floats throughout Portugal due to the abundance of freshly caught fish and seafood on offer along with locally made and grown produce. For me the best time to visits the markets is Saturday mornings when the farmers come down from the hills and set up their stay around the market. The vibrancy, atmosphere  and colour is just amazing to watch and take in.

Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Pimenta. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

Damages Protection

Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with repsect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

Methods of payment

On the payment page you will find two tabs.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please use this tab if you wish to pay by card.

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information


Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress  €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.


Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
