Description

Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Luna is a gorgeous, well furnished 3 bedroom apartment located nice and close to the Town Centre and sea front. Set within the popular resort of Village Marina. Additional features include a roof top swimming pool with amazing views across to the islands of Olhao. Fibre internet, parking and air conditioning.

Apartment Luna is a simply fantastic 3 bedroom apartment situated on a very popular and modern resort in Olhao called Marina Village. It offers beautiful furnishings, modern facilities and the added luxury of a swimming pool set on the roof top of the building with stunning views over Olhao and the Ria Formosa.

Entrance

This gorgeous 3 bedroom apartment is located within a modern block of 8 apartments over 4 floors. The main front door opens up into a lobby and can be operated by an intercom from each apartment. Lifts or internal stairs take you to the upper floors and roof terrace and the swimming pool. Each apartment has a solid wooden door and ours opens up into a hallway that runs the length of the 3 bedroom apartment with a smart glass hallway table for all those little bits and pieces.

Living Room

The living space is just as you enter this fabulous 3 bedroom apartment on the right hand side. Light wood and glass doors one up into a light and bright space. Along one wall is a smart wooden retro style cabinet suited for the flat screen television. In the centre of the room is a matching square coffee table.  A wonderful fabric sofa with contrasting cushions fills the room and lets you look out to the balcony or faces the tv for that relaxing quiet night in. Behind the sofa is a fabulous abstract bookcase the compliment the rest of the furniture. 

The second part of the living room is laid out as a dining area.  The room is filled with a large glass and wood dining table with 6 grey basic and wooden matching chairs. Then finally along the back wall is another matching sideboard.  

The same is perfectly laid out with smart and stylish modern furnishings to compliment this modern apartment. Two huge sets of sliding French windows open up onto a balcony that overlooks the Town of Olhao.  Both windows are dressed with beautiful curtains to add a touch of softness to the room. But the wonderful features of this room are the shutters on the windows to keep the room nice and cool in the summer and the air conditioning to keep the 3 bedrooms at the most perfect temperatures.

Kitchen

Moving along the hallway we reach the kitchen. This room is very well aid out and designed to be used as a normal family kitchen. Along one wall is a selection of fitted kitchen units filled with cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes and much more. Hiding behind the units is a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Integrated in an eye level electric oven and matching microwave in brushed chrome.

A work top in black marble has a fitted ceramic hob and overhead extractor. Again plenty of cupboards offer plenty of storage. We have also added a toaster, kettle and capsule coffee machine. So no small details has been missed.

The kitchen has a small anti room that hues the integral vacuum and she cleaning tools and appliances. Again reminding you this is a great family 3 bedroom apartment.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The bedrooms and bathrooms of our fabulous 3 bedroom apartment is divided by a door that helps to keep the sleeping area quiet and cool.  

The family bathroom is the first room and offers a shower cubicle with wonderful rich dark brown tiles and glass walls. The aqua green glass basin sits upon and floating vanity unit with plenty of space to store cosmetics. Overhead the basin is a super massive mirror. Across to the left is a toilet too. Back to the hallway and a fitted wardrobe sits opposite the bathroom neatly set not the wall. 

The first bedroom is laid out with a kingsize bed with a super rich, soft headboard. Each side is matching white bedside units and matching lamps. In the corner is a little match stool. Sliding French windows open up onto a balcony that runs the length and the bedrooms.  Light, silver great curtains add the finishing touches. Again, opposite the bedroom in the hallway is more fitted wardrobes offering plenty of space to store clothes and much more.

The second bedroom offers a lovely large kingsize bed with a beautiful and unusual lilac velvet headboard. Each side is dark wood and gold bedside units and along one wall is a matching chest of drawers. Each bedside unit has a gorgeous little gold lamps and matching shades. A door with shutters leads onto the balcony, what a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the rising sun. 

The master bedroom is right at the end of the 3 bedroom apartment is decorated in a most delicate and opulent fashion. The kingsize bed has a tape velvet headboard surrounded with a s imply beautiful galls and chrome frame. Matching bedside cupboards again and chores and glass with lamps provide wonderful features with practicality.  A chest of drawers match the rest of the bedroom and can be used an a simply stylish dressing table. Silver curtains surround a door that leads to the balcony.  Shutters and air conditioning add great features. 

The en suite bathrooms is just as you enter the master bedroom of this great 3 bedroom apartment and is next to the fitted wardrobe with siding doors and internal lights along with drawers inside keeping storage smart and neat. 

The en suite offers a full size bath and overhead shower set into aqua green mosaic style tiles. A glass screen makes the shower an easy to use space.  A beautiful glass basin is set into a vanity unit and above is a large mirror. To the left is a white ceramic toilet and bidet.

Private Terraces

Apartment Luna, our wonderful 3 bedroom apartment offers some great outside spaces to enjoy. From the living space two set of windows lead onto a private terrace. The terraces overlook the town of Olhao and benefit from the morning sunshine.  They make a great place for a relaxing morning coffee and a relaxing start to the day. We have added an outside dining table and chairs to really make this the perfect al fresco space. 

Each bedroom has access to a terrace that runs the length the rooms and makes a great spot to relax in the sun so we have placed a couple of sun loungers here to relax, read a book and enjoy the tranquility. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

This 3 bedroom apartment makes for a great holiday base for families are couples any time of the year.  Situated within the popular complex of Marina Village the communal facilities are great. The report offers plenty off-road parking nice and close the the apartment blocks.  Around the complex is well kept gardens, trees and shrubs. 

By far the best feature Marina Village offers is the roof top facilities. Our 3 bedroom apartment has use of the swimming pool and rooftop area along with 7 other apartments. The pool is a simply fun and refreshing place for a dip in the hot summer sun. From the roof top is fabulous 360 views of the mountains behind Olhao, the cubist rooftops and lookouts of the traditional fishermens cottages all around the town. Then the real feature you can not fail to enjoy is the views out to the islands and sea and the lagoons, salt flats and much more the enjoy with ver change tides and scenery. 

Facilities

This superb 3 bedroom apartment is set and a higher floor level offering great views. The modern facilities makes this a great lace to enjoy your holiday.  Each room offers air conditioning that can be used in a variety of modes. Fresh cool air gives that wonderful coolness needed in the summer months and warm cosy air is great in the cooler evenings on the winter months.  So don't forget to thin about visiting us any time of the year as the Algarve can be great in the winter too with so much to see and do. 

Marina Village is set just on the edge of the old part of Olhao and right on the sea front. There is a pair where you can catch the boats to the island beaches and less than a 10 minute walk is a bus and train station. Plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants line along the sea front and the sea front fees wonderful gardens along the Harbourside too. 

Our lovely 3 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Luna. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

     

    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at info@marsalgarve.com.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

     

    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

     

    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

      

    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
