A stunning old townhouse in a classical and excellent location. Casa Carolas has a beautiful old facade facing on to a superbly renovated square surrounded by other well kept townhouses with their own pots with typical Algarvian flowers and plants offering a great secluded little spot in a tranquil little area.

The house offers accommodation over three floors with a split level roof terrace offering an outside style kitchen, a lower terrace with a dining table and chairs for some al fresco dining whilst overlooking the fabulous rooftop views over Olhao. Climb a little spiral stair case and find a lovely seating area with shading for a day of relaxed sunbathing, reading and general relaxation.

Enter the side door of Casa Carolas and you will find a small terrace giving access to a full kitchen with all the equipment you would need to cook some fabulous meals having been shopping in the daily market with all the freshly caught fish and shellfish you can eat along with locally grown and made produce.

From the kitchen enter the living area with a large comfortable sofa and huge old style front door giving access to the square and large wooden dining table. You will find many wonderful old features, making Casa Carolas a great house full of character.

From the living room is one bathroom and a wonderful marble staircase with traditional tiled walls takes you to the first level with a shared bathroom the master bedroom with a large double bed with old style door windows with shutters overlooking the square. The second bedroom again with old style windows and shutters overlooking the side and front of the house, a large double bed and storage space. The third bedroom is offered privacy with a curtain and has a wonderful Portuguese antique bed.

Head up the stairs again and gain access to those wonderful terraces with the second kitchen, complete with utensils, crockery and glasses. A place to sit and eat. also find a washing machine for your use too.

Casa Carolas is spacious cool and comfortable any time of the year and located in a great location for those who do not wish to have a a car during their holiday.  All amenities and some simply fabulous restaurants along with great transport links are all within easy walking distance.

To secure your holiday with us we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price followed by the remainder of the payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Upon full payment and completion of the booking form we will end you meeting arrangements, directions and a comprehensive pack of information on the local area.

We can supply Euro and a sterling bank account for payments although if you wish to pay by credit/debit card we are able to provide you with an invoice using Paypal. You will not need to have a Paypal account to use this facility.

We require a damage bond and this is dealt with by way of a credit card slip with credit/debit card details of any person booked into the property.  If a card is not available then the payment must be in cash and this will be returned via bank transfer once the holiday is over and upon receipt of bank details.

The holiday price includes a mid stay linen change every 7 days for stays of 14 nights or more.

Bed linen, bath and hand towels along with beach/pool towels are provided within the holiday cost. 

WI-FI is included but may incur an extra charge please confirm that WI-FI is included within the cost of your holiday.

We operate a strict arrival and departure time limit especially during the summer months.  Arrival is after 1600 and departure is before 1000. For arrivals we are happy to meet you at the property after 1000 to drop baggage etc but then entry can not be gained until after 1600 to allow the cleaners to prepare the property to the exceptionally high standard that we at Mars Algarve pride ourselves upon. Departure is strictly before 1000 and failure to depart on time without prior arrangement will result in a financial charge.

Upon arrival you will be met by one of the very helpful Mars Algarve Team they will hand over the keys to your holiday home and take the time to show you the property and tell you about any local information and answer any questions you may have. The Mars Algarve team will then be on hand during your holiday for any issues that may arise.

Before you arrive, we will send you our new guest online welcome book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday property, the local area and has all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. The online book gives you a real insight and allows you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. This also gives you the guest the opportunity to take the book with you wherever you go on your smartphone or tablet, maximising your holiday experience.

An ideal family holiday home, wonderfully located
We are two thirds of the way through a months holiday in this traditional house in the heart of the old town It is perfect for accessing all the amenities of this charming area. It is clean, spacious and well equipped, and the beds are very comfortable. The management have been very helpful and quick to respond to any queries and problems and have organised taxi transfers very efficiently Two of our daughters and partners have visited separately for five days each, and have been delighted and impressed with the house and the town. The roof terraces give extra space for family activities and lovely views of the lagoon and the town.
