Apartment Uva is a simply splendid renovated two bedroom apartment in the heart of Old Olhao with fantastic outside space.

Nestled in the small Moroccan style alleyways, this attractive apartment is close to everything. Being the only residential property in the building, the apartment is situated on the 2nd floor above a Beautician of which it shares the main entrance. From the no walk through alley way, you access the property via the main door of the building from the street to the 2nd floor.

Light and airy, this air conditioned apartment has wired internet and wifi, TV with local and some international channels.

You are 5 mins walk to the ferry that takes you to the island beaches and 2 mins walk from the municipal daily markets which sell fresh fish and veg. The markets are surrounded by coffee shops, making it a great people watching place to be.

The apartment has a very unique and unusual design feel, slightly rounded walls in some parts which make the apartment flow.

From the stairs you open into the main hallway of the apartment, to the left is an additional inner stairway leading to the master en-suite bedroom and roof terraces which have amazing town, rooftop and sea views.

Further on from the inner stairs, to the left you have a well equipped rounded design kitchen, with dishwasher, oven and hob, and all the usual facilities you would expect to find.

There is even a small viewing terrace off the kitchen to the street, giving you more than plenty of places to peek outside and feel the real experience of the town.

A large open plan living room and dining area with TV and air con, tastefully designed making it a great place to relax.

To the opposite end of the hallway, you have a twin bedded room, and shower room with WC facilities.

Up the stairs to the main bedroom, again tastefully designed and appointed. This en-suite has a full size bath along with WC and hand basin.

One of the best things about this apartment is the 2 terrace areas, one with a built in BBQ, outside sink and then steps to an additional higher terrace offering the most spectacular views you could imagine.

Both of the roof terraces have shade which you can open and close to your liking, and outside furniture to compliment this space.

Soak up the light, atmosphere of the town and people, feel the vibe and the buzz of the old town.

To secure your holiday with us we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price followed by the remainder of the payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Upon full payment and completion of the booking form we will end you meeting arrangements, directions and a comprehensive pack of information on the local area.

We can supply Euro and a sterling bank account for payments although if you wish to pay by credit/debit card we are able to provide you with an invoice using Paypal. You will not need to have a Paypal account to use this facility.

We require a damage bond and this is dealt with by way of a credit card slip with credit/debit card details of any person booked into the property.  If a card is not available then the payment must be in cash and this will be returned via bank transfer once the holiday is over and upon receipt of bank details.

The holiday price includes a mid stay linen change every 7 days for stays of 14 nights or more.

Bed linen, bath and hand towels along with beach/pool towels are provided within the holiday cost. 

WIFI is included but may incur an extra charge please confirm that WIFI is included within the cost of your holiday.

We operate a strict arrival and departure time limit especially during the summer months.  Arrival is after 1600 and departure is before 1000. For arrivals we are happy to meet you at the property after 1000 to drop baggage etc but then entry can not be gained until after 1600 to allow the cleaners to prepare the property to the exceptionally high standard that we at Mars Algarve pride ourselves upon. Departure is strictly before 1000 and failure to depart on time without prior arrangement will result in a financial charge.

Upon arrival you will be met by one of the very helpful Mars Algarve Team they will hand over the keys to your holiday home and take the time to show you the property and tell you about any local information and answer any questions you may have. The Mars Algarve team will then be on hand during your holiday for any issues that may arise.

Before you arrive, we will send you our new guest online welcome book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday property, the local area and has all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. The online book gives you a real insight and allows you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. This also gives you the guest the opportunity to take the book with you wherever you go on your smartphone or tablet, maximising your holiday experience.

Appartement superbement rénové et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, le plus : les deux magnifiques terrasses avec vue à couper le souffle ! Idéalement situé, dans le charmant centre de Olhão et à 5 minutes du ferry menant aux îles. L équipe de mars Algarve est également très disponible et à l écoute. À recommander vivement ! Nous avons hâte d’y retourner dès que possible !

Modern and clean
Property was clean and well decorated,the two terrace areas were ideal and both had large framed canopies.Bars and restaurants a very short walk away. Equipment and furniture more than enough.Big Eye taxis well worth a mention , on time both ways and only 40euros total cost.

To Rent without Hesitation
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Olhao, malgré une météo capricieuse. Accueil sympathique par Olesia à la remise des clés. Appartement superbe et très bien situé. La boulangerie est tout à coté pour les pains chauds du petit déjeuner ! Belle décoration de l'appartement. Propreté, électroménager, literie et équipements : très bien La pluie ne nous a pas permis de profiter des 2 terrasses, mais la vue y est superbe. Merci à l'équipe de Mars Algarve pour les services rendus à l'arrivée et au départ. A louer sans hésiter. We had a great time in Olhao, despite a capricious weather. Friendly welcome by Olesia at the key collection. Superb apartment and very well located. The bakery is next to hot breakfast breads! Beautiful decoration of the apartment. Cleanliness, appliances, bedding and equipment: very good The rain did not allow us to enjoy the 2 terraces, but the view is superb. We stayed in Apartment Uva during the October half term. Booking the apartment from start to finish was very easy and the staff at Mars were very welcoming, friendly and professional. The apartment itself is very well equiped and in a great location. We enjoyed it so much that we have booked a further week in February and also April 2018.

“Apartment Uva is a great place to stay. The air conditioning allowed us a couple of nights to acclimatise. Great location - good local restaurants, close to market. Barbecue area is great especially with freshly caught fish. Mars very helpful as we're Big Eye Tours. Wireless Internet meant teenagers were kept up-to-date with whatever social media they use.
