Apartment Rocio is a stunning 2 bedroom apartment, newly bought and furnished to an excellent standard Autumn 2018. Our fabulous 2 bedroom apartment is located on the very popular complex of Village Marina. Situated just on the edge of the buzzing fishing Town of Olhao. Making it a perfect holiday base.
Access to Apartment Rocio from the off street parking spaces is by a secure intercom system into a well lit and spacious hallway. Either enclosed stairs and two large lifts give access to the floor levels and in turn apartment. Our 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a 4 storey building. With 2 apartments per floor the solid wood door to our 2 bedroom apartment opens into a large and airy hall giving access to the rest of the apartment.
Upon entry to our wonderful space, double doors with full size glass and wooden frames open up into a lovely large living room with wooden floors to give a sense of warmth and comfort. A lovely large dining table that seats 6 is situated to the rear of the living room and there is also 6 chars to compliment the table. A superb large fabric corner suite sits facing towards the large French windows and also the large flat screen television offering a selection of European tv channels. The whole living space is decorated with comfort, easy living and style in mind. The large french sliding window doors give access to a very spacious terrace. The doors have the added comfort of electric shutters to keep the apartment nice and cool during the hot summer months. A well placed air conditioning unit provides cool in the hot summer months and heat for the slightly cooler winter evenings. So our 2 bedroom apartment Roccio makes a perfect place to stay any time of the year.
The kitchen is at the front of the 2 bed apartment and a separate space. The floor is tiled with practical light blue tiles. A small area is put to one side to store the integral vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. This area has shutters that can be opened to offer fresh air. The kitchen has plenty of work surface with under surface cupboards, 6 drawers and over head cupboards too. You will find them well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery along with various style glasses to suit all your beverage needs. We have taken the time to provide plenty of cooking utensils so you will find an excellent selections of pots, pans and dishes. The drawers offer a mix of tea towels, hand utensils and other equipment for cooking up some fabulous meals.
The kitchen in this 2 bedroom apartment has fitted appliances to include a full size fridge freezer, washer/dryer machine, dishwasher, electric hob and oven and a microwave. We have also supplied a Dulce Gusto coffee machine, kettle and toaster.
Large floor to ceiling windows look out towards the cubist town of Olhao.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The master bedroom is situated at the rear of the 2 bedroom apartment. A large and spacious room with a huge super kingsize bed. Each side of the bed is bedside units with lamps for your reading or evening comfort. A floor to ceiling glass french windows allows natural light but also has the added extra of an electric shutter to keep the room cool in the summer months and give a nice dark room of a night time. Beautifully furnished in light easy colours and giving a nice soft feel to the room. Large fitted wardrobes with sliding doors and automatic lighting offer plenty of storage space and hangers are provided for you.
The master bedroom has a superb en suite bathroom. The bathroom offers a full size bath and overhead shower, stylish green glass basin with a large mirror above and vanity unit below with plenty of space for storing beauty items, shampoo etc. There is also a toilet and bidet. The bathroom is very modern with clean lines and attractive tiles and the floor and walls.
The second bedroom is equipped with a large double bed with a smart fabric large and attractive headboard.Each side of the bed again you will find bedside tables and lamps. A large window to let in natural light but also again with an electric shutter for cooling during the days and darkness at night. This room too is furnished in a pleasant pastel and light style giving an exceptional feeling of warmth stye and comfort.
A large fitted wardrobe with wooden sliding doors and automatic lighting offers plenty fo space t store clothes and shoes.
A shared bathroom next to the second bedroom is equipped with a toilet, enclosed shower and stylish glass basin set into a well designed vanity unit with a large over head mirror.
Accessed via huge glass sliding french windows from the living room the private and covered balcony terrace offers excellent lighting and four comfortable lounge chairs surrounding a coffee table. The terrace makes for a great spot to sit in the morning for breakfast and also a pleasant sundowner before heading into Olhao for some super Portuguese cuisine at one os so many fantastic restaurants Olhao now offers.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
To enjoy the facility of the rooftop swimming pool it is accessed either by the internal stair or by the lift. Then a secure door gives access to the roof terrace and super rooftop pool and sun loungers for your comfort. The roof terrace offers a sections of areas in which to enjoy the Algarve sun. There are some spots for quiet sunbathing or the decked area directly around the pool. Where ver you choose to place your self the views are simply amazing over either the Ria Formosa and stunning Olhao Islands of Culatra, Farol, Deserta and Armona. Not forgetting to beautiful crystal blue sea. Or turn your head the other way and be amazed by the mountain views behind the cubist Town of Olhao. Checkout all the roof tops and different styles of houses, simply fabulous!
The Marina Village Complex has plenty of parking outside each apartment block. The complex has some flower beds and well maintained garden areas. The first two blocks of the complex have a selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants along with a traditional Barbour and beauticians. So everything you need all in one place!

This 2 bedroom apartment offers comfortable, modern and stylish living. Everything has been thought of to make sure you are well looked after from brand new air conditioning to good speed wifi. Situated just on the outskirts of the old town Marina Village is perfectly placed for an easy holiday. There is no need to hire a car as both the train and bus station are nearby and also very easy access to taxis and Uber. Large supermarkets, including Lidl and Continente are nearby and the town centre is a very easy and flat walk.
Our lovely 2 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Roccio. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
One month before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
We ask for a damage bond of €200 this is payable on arrival at your holiday home either by cash or provision of credit cards details.
Methods of payment
On the payment page you will find four tabs.
Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference
Tab 2 Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.
Tab 3 UK Bank Transfer. We are able to utilise a UK bank account if preferred. Before payment please ask for a Euro/sterling conversions price.
Tab 4 If you prefer Paypal we have a direct link for you to be able to use this method of payment.
What is included in the holiday Price

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information
Equipment hire for children and babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. Paymnet will be locally in cash please.
We offer the following,
Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night
Travel cots and mattress (No linen provided, please be sure to bring your own) €5 per night
High chairs €5 per night.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We have used the same local Company, Big Eye Tours since its inception 3 years ago. Run by a brother and sister team and born and bred in Olhao they have built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
