A wonderful and spacious 3 bedroom apartment situated within a modern well kept complex of apartments within the historic fishing town of Olhao. Benefiting from modern air conditioning, fibre internet and access to a shared rooftop swimming pool and sea views.

Apartment Oliviera is a brand new 3 bedroom apartment new to the MarsAlgarve Collection in Summer of 2018. This brand new 3 bedroom apartment is freshly furnished to a wonderful high standard providing the guest with exceptional comfort during their holiday.

Situated at first floor level in a building no higher than 4 storeys and two apartments at each level. Facing towards the sea the apartment has a very pleasant outlook with sea views.



Entry to the apartment building is via a secure intercom system. The foyer offers access to stairs or two lifts to take you to the apartment. The front door has a triple lock system and a doorbell. Upon entry to the apartment  takes you into a hallway with modern and warm laminate flooring through out. The spacious hallways guides you to the accommodation within the apartment and also has super large wardrobes for each of the bedrooms.


Living Space

Wooden and glass double doors open into a large and airy living room and dining area. A solid wood dining table and 6 chairs face large, sliding french windows that open onto a small terrace. The terrace is a perfect space for a morning coffee watching the wildlife on the salt flats come alive for the day. Or maybe in the evening with a sundowner after a hard day sight seeing or lazing on the beach watching the day come to an end with the amazing sundowns or sunrises the Algarve often provides.

The living space offers pleasing and comfortable furnishings in the form of a large corner suite style sofa surrounding the large flatscreen smart tv and a coffee table. A second set large windows also offer views out towards the sea also giving the apartment plenty of natural light and the feeling of open and space. Both sets of windows benefit from electric shutters to both keep the apartment cooler in the summer months and nice and dark so the perfect holiday lay in can be achieved!



Following along the hallway a single door opens into a large and modern galley style kitchen with a window at the end offering plenty of light. The kitchen is abundantly well equipped ready for you to cook up a storm with all the fresh produce Olhao daily market has to offer. You will find a full size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster kettle and coffee machine. The cupboards are well stocked with plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans crockery, cutlery, glasses and more. There is plenty of cupboard and storage space and work tops for food preparation. The kitchen also offers an electric oven and gas hob with one ring being dedicated to electric. There is also an extractor fan above the hob. Also housed in the kitchen is the large hot water tank that is supplied by solar panels offering plenty of hot water in an economic and environmentally friendly way.


Bedrooms and Bathrooms

At the end of our 3 bedroom apartment is the spacious master bedroom with a large kingsize bed made with freshly laundered crisp white linen and a large white bath towels and smaller hand towels, both, soft, fresh and laundered for your comfort. We also provide beach/pool towels to save you having to add them to your luggage giving you more space for Algarve souvenirs. Bedside tables snd lamps are each side of the bed for your reading comfort. Two large windows offer plenty of natural light but also have the added extra of electric shutters giving the room a cool dark feel at night time, also great for keeping closed during the day to keep the apartment lovely and cool during the heat of the Algarve summer. Curtains and soft furnishing finish off the room making it a fresh and pleasant space.

The en suite bathroom offers a good full size bath and over head shower with a shower screen and mixer taps. A hand basin set into and attractive glass and wood vanity unit with a cupboard under neath. A large mirror hangs above the vanity unit. There is also a toilet and bidet. The bathroom is beautifully tiled offering a little luxury.

The second bedroom offers a large double bed again with a large window to let in the morning light, but with electric shutters to offer the same comfort as the Master bedroom. Bedside table and lamps , freshly laundered crisp white linen, soft white bath and hand towels and the added extra of the pool/beach towels.

The third bedroom offers a single bed with a pull out option for a bed to sleep two persons. This can be made up either as a single or a double to suit your needs. Again with our high class linen, towels and beach/pool towels.

Lastly there is shared bathroom with a large beautifully tiled step in shower, Fabulous turquoise glass basin set inot a wooden and stylish vanity unit with cupboards below and a large mirror above the basin and a toilet. 


Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Each apartment at Marina Village has access to a roof terrace with a swimming pool.  our super 3 bedroom Apartmnet Oliveira is no different! Access to the roof top can either be by using the two lifts or by stairs. The roof is laid out with wooden style decking and a gorgeous swimming pool makes for a wonderful place to cool down whilst admiring the stunning sea views. Sun loungersare on offer for your use.  Marina Village offers plenty off road parking and the gardend and beds are maitained well offering flowers and shrubs giving a pleasnt area in which to be.



Each room in this 3 bed apartment has top quality air conditioning units thats can be set to cool during the hot summer months but also set to heat during the cooler evenings in the Winter months, making this apartment fabulous for both a summer holiday trip, maybe a longer winter sun let or s stop gap for some sight seeing in the Eat of the Algarve region as we have so much more to offer than just beautiful sandy beaches.

Apartment Oliviera is located in one of the very few areas in the East of the Algarve that benefits from fibre optic internet meaning the apartment has the added advantage of good high speed internet. Great for Netflix and BBC I player etc. Also if you do have to work whilst on holiday this maybe a great extra for you? The television is fitted with a variety of European tv channels to suit the need of a variety of Nationalities.

Marina Village complex offers plenty off road parking spaces outside the apartment blocks. The first two apartments blocks as the complex is entered has a pleasant pedestrian are with a typical Portuguese cobbled effect surrounded flower beds and trees. The ground floor units are given over as shop spaces and so far the area offers a super cocktail bar/cafe that offers breakfast, meals and hot and cold drinks throughout the day with a lovely indoor or outdoor space throughout the day. A mixture of restaurants to include a tapas bar, steak house and Italian. A Nutella pancake bar and also an Irish bar open in the evenings offering a great cocktail menu, snack and of course all hallowed Guinness for those lovers of the black nectar.


Our lovely 3 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to ApartmentOliveira. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

One month before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

We ask for a damage bond of €200 this is payable on arrival at your holiday home either by cash or provision of credit cards details.


Methods of payment

On the payment page you will find four tabs.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

Tab 3 UK Bank Transfer.  We are able to utilise a UK bank account if preferred. Before payment please ask for a Euro/sterling conversions price. 

Tab 4 If you prefer Paypal we have a direct link for you to be able to use this method of payment.

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information


Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. Paymnet will be locally in cash please. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress (No linen provided, please be sure to bring your own) €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.


Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We have used the same local Company, Big Eye Tours since its inception 3 years ago. Run by a brother and sister team and born and bred in Olhao they have built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
