A brand new 2 bed apartment for 2018 that sleeps 3 on the 4th floor with air conditioning, WIF, a shared pool and amazing Ria Formosa views.

Apartment El Toro is a 2 bedroom apartment that sleeps 3 persons. Brand new for 2018 and has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Nothing has been forgotten. Situated on the 4th floor of a very popular apartments complex Village Marina.

 

Entrance

This 2 bedroom apartment is situated in a block of 8 apartments that share the main front door from the parking lot into the building. The door benefits from an intercom system for each apartment. Once in the foyer there is a choice of modern well maintained lifts or an internal stair case to the 3rd floor where our 2 bedroom apartment is located. Each floor houses 2 apartments per floor. A nice solid door with a state of the art locking system gives access to the hallway of our 2 bedroom apartment El Toro that in turn leads to each room.

 

Living Space

Grand smoked glass and light wood double doors open in to the living space from the hallway. Towards the rear of the open plan room is a lovely modern design grey wood effect dining table surrounded by 4 leather effect and wooden chars. A perfect location for some evening dining. Moving to the front of the light and spacious room is a large, elegant corner suite sofa is a metal grey fabric. Paced in front of the sofa is an easy to reach coffee table ins matching style to the dining table. Then against the wall is a large television unit in keeping with the them of the room. On the unit is a large flat screen smart tv. It offers s election of Portuguese and European channels and also has the added Smart feature. A great addition especially bearing in mind our 2 bedroom apartment benefits from excellent WIFI.

The whole space has been furnished to a very high standard to be able to offer our guests optimum comfort during their holiday. Air conditioning is installed in each room and offers refreshing cool in those hot summer months but then also some cosy warmth on the cooler winter evenings. A 2 bedroom apartment perfect for any time of the year.

Massive French sliding windows separate the living room from the private balcony and form the living room you have super views across the Ria Formosa and the every changing tides of the sea.

 

Kitchen

Our 2 bedroom apartment gives you a full size kitchen with a large floor to ceiling window so you can still have great views whilst you cook! It lets in lots of natural light and makes the kitchen pleasant. Equipped with both low level and above the head kitchen cupboards you will find them well stocked. We have provided a variety of different glasses, cups and mugs. We have supplied plates, bowls, serving dishes, utensils and cutlery. In the lower cupboards are roasting dishes pots and pans.

We provide a selection of small appliances to include a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and microwave. The kitchen is kitted with a full size fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher too. A small cupboard houses an integral vacuum cleaner and is a perfect space to store beach stuff and cleaning tools.

The marble work top is easy to clean and inset is a inox hob with both gas and electric rings. Overhead is a smart and efficient inox extractor fan. Below is a full size electric oven. So a kitchen with all you could need to create some fabulous meals form the local fresh produce.

 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The master bedroom is an inviting space in our 2 bedroom apartment with 2 large comfortable single beds together flanked by a large leatherette headboard. The beds have mattress toppers to ensure maximum sleep benefit and comfort. Each side of the beds is matching bedside tables and lamps. An air conditioning unit offers quick and efficient cooling or heating. Long French style windows offer plenty of natural light but have the added facility of electric shutters, perfect to create a very dark room if you are light sleeper and suer too for keeping the room cool in the hotter Algarve Summer months. The windows are dressed with smart slate grey curtains to add to the softness of the room.

Large wardrobes are fitted and enclosed by sliding doors. They offer lots of hanging space and storage and have the excellent facility of interior automatic lighting.

The bathroom is decorated in stylish aqua green and white tiles giving a fresh clean feeling to the space. It offers a full size bath and over head shower along with a classic white ceramic bidet and toilet. A glass basin is set into a wooden vanity unit adding a simple touch of class to the room and above is a large mirror.

The second bedroom has a large single bed with a mattress topper again to achieve the best nights sleep. Fitted wardrobes offer plenty fo space for clothes and shoes. An air con unit offers cool and heat depending on the time of year and a floor to ceiling window offers that all important natural light we all love. But there is a electric shutter for coolness and darkness too. Red curtains drape each side of the window and along with red decorations add a touch of opulence to the singe bedroom of the 2 bedroom apartment.

There is a large sliding door between the master bedroom and single room making this an interconnecting feature. Just superb for families with young children.

 

Private Terrace

The terrace of this 2 bedroom apartment is enclosed at the sides and open at the front to offer exceptional sea and Ria Formosa views. We have placed a clean white table and chairs along with two simple sun beds on the terrace so you can gain maximum use of this excellent space.

Being just that little higher views over the gardens and trees open out to the salt flats that are so famous in Portugal. Whilst the salt thats is harvested might be found in Harrods the wildlife that live on the flats will keep you entertained for hours. The birdlife is abundant and can often include flamingoes.

 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool.

The swimming pool for the 2 bedroom apartment El Toro is located on the roof of the apartment building. Designed to maximise the views. The pool is quite shallow and very refreshing in the Summer months. Surrounding the pool is sun loungers provided by the Condo Company for your use. It is well worth exploring the open roof top area as there are plenty of little places that offer a quiet little spot and relax in the abundant Algarve sunshine.

The gardens at Marina Village are laid to grass trees and shrubs directly in front of our 2 bedroom apartment El Toro. Trees and shrubs have been planted to provide a local feel to the complex. The parkings spaces are in plentiful supply and made from traditional calcada stones.

 

Facilities

Apartment El Toro is an excellent 2 bedroom apartment for easy living during your holiday. Its location suits those who may not wish to hire a car. The boats for the beaches are just a 2 minute walk and the walk into the centre can be along the flat sea front gardens.

At the complex Marina Village the first two blocks have ground floor units given over to some fabulous restaurants, cafes, bars and shops.

Our lovely 2 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment El Toro. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

One month before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

We ask for a damage bond of €200 this is payable on arrival at your holiday home either by cash or provision of credit cards details.

 

Methods of payment

On the payment page you will find four tabs.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

Tab 3 UK Bank Transfer.  We are able to utilise a UK bank account if preferred. Before payment please ask for a Euro/sterling conversions price. 

Tab 4 If you prefer Paypal we have a direct link for you to be able to use this method of payment.

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

 

Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

 

Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

 

Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information

 

Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. Paymnet will be locally in cash please. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress (No linen provided, please be sure to bring your own) €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.

 

Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We have used the same local Company, Big Eye Tours since its inception 3 years ago. Run by a brother and sister team and born and bred in Olhao they have built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
