Apartment Ciciona is a very popular 2 bedroom apartment right in the centre of the Marina Village complex. It offers a shared rooftop pool, fabulous terrace, WIFI and air conditioning.
Our super popular 2 bedroom 1st floor apartment is the perfect base for a great holiday. Apartment Ciciona is a spacious well equipped 2 bedroom apartment close to all amenities and transport links.
The 2 bedroom apartment is entered via an intercom protected vestibule door that gives access to all the 8 apartments n the block. From the vestibule you can either choose a well lit interior stair case or lifts to takes you to the first floor. A solid wooden door opens into the 2 bedroom apartment and interior hallway that in turn gives access to each of the rooms in the 2 bedroom apartment.
Double glass and light wood doors open into the open plan living area. Styled in a rich red and chocolate theme the living room offers a relaxed but stylish room with plenty of comfort. To the rear of the living room is a dark woof sideboard with pleasant ornaments followed by a large dark wood dining table surrounded by dark wood and leather effect dining chairs. The contrast with the light wall and light wood floor make for an elegant feel to the room.
The space is plentiful enough to house two large fabric nut brown sofas. One faces towards a large flat screen smart television that offers a mix of Portuguese and some European channels. This is set on an elegant television unit to match the coffee table. The other sofa faces straight out onto the private balcony. Making this a lovely place to sit and enjoy the warm Algarve sunshine flooding in. Massive floor to ceiling French sliding windows open onto the Private terrace.
The kitchen of this 2 bedroom apartment is very large and exceptionally well equipped especially for a holiday home. It is fully fitted with a number of white overhead cupboards stocked with plenty of glasses, cups, plates, bowls and more. Below are matching light wood cupboards with a selection of cooking pots and pans and serving dishes.
The marble work top surrounds to of the wall and inset is a hob that offers both gas and electric. Above is an inox extractor. Small appliances include a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and fitted microwave. Large appliances include a full size fridge freeze, dishwasher and washing machine. A small anti room is perfect for the integral vacuum, cleaning tools and an iron and ironing board.
A floor to ceiling window offers some good natural light and a s election of vents offer a good supply of fresh air.
Bedroom and Bathrooms
At the rear of our superb 2 bedroom apartment is the bedrooms
and bathrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a large kingsize
with dark wood bedside units and matching lamps. Hanging on the wall is a good size full length mirror. Fitted wardrobes with large easy sliding doors provide plenty of storage inside with automatic lighting, hanging space, shelves and drawers. Two large windows offers plenty of light but also have the added comfort of electric shutters for that super dark feel but also to keep the room cool in the summer. An air conditioning unit offers coolness in the summer and some warmth in the slightly cooler Algarve winter evenings.
The en suite bathroom is decorated in white and turquoise
miniature tiles giving a sense of grace. A full size bath offers a
relaxing option and also and over head shower. A turquoise glass
basin to match the walls sits inset into a light wood floating
vanity unit with a huge over head mirror.
A white ceramic toilet and bidet finish the bathroom.
The second bedroom has two good size single beds with a dark wood bedside unit and lamp. A fitted wardrobe with sliding doors and automatic lighting is a great space. Two floor to ceiling windows offer that wonderful light again but with shutters for keeping it dark and cool if you so desire. Fitted with an air conditioning unit every comfort has been thought of.
A separate bathroom decorated in an opulent brown and white tiling is fitted with a large shower cubicle. A basin set into a wooden vanity unit offering storage for cosmetics and toiletries. A large mirror over the basin and a toilet and bidet.
The terrace in our 2 bedroom apartment leads form the living space and the floor to ceiling sliding French windows. It gives a great view over the Marina village complex and takes advantage of the afternoon sun. WE have made sure all has been thought of and provided a nice large table and chairs along with 2 sun loungers.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
The swimming pool for our 2 bedroom apartment is located on the rooftop of the 4 storey building. Set into wood style decking on a raised terrace the pool and surrounding area offer a super place to sunbathe and enjoy the fantastic views over the Ria Formosa sea and islands. private little spots can also be found on the roof terrace to enjoy some relaxing time.
The gardens are mainly laid to flower beds with a variety of local shrubs, the parking is directly outside the apartments. The areas is well kept for our visitors and designed to offer easy living.
This 2 bedroom apartment Ciciona is fitted throughout with air conditioning that offers both warmth and cool, making this a great all year around apartment. WIFI is of a good speed and perfect for tablets and working if you really have to! Nearby is both the train and bus station and taxis and Uber are easy to find. A short walk along the sea front and marina makes for a pleasant occasion taking in the gardens and local views. Boats for the beach islands are located right outside the complex and the famous Olhao daily market is a flat easy walk.

It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Ciciona. Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
One month before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
We ask for a damage bond of €200 this is payable on arrival at your holiday home either by cash or provision of credit cards details.
Methods of payment
On the payment page you will find four tabs.
Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference
Tab 2 Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.
Tab 3 UK Bank Transfer. We are able to utilise a UK bank account if preferred. Before payment please ask for a Euro/sterling conversions price.
Tab 4 If you prefer Paypal we have a direct link for you to be able to use this method of payment.
What is included in the holiday Price

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information
Equipment hire for children and babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. Paymnet will be locally in cash please.
We offer the following,
Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night
Travel cots and mattress (No linen provided, please be sure to bring your own) €5 per night
High chairs €5 per night.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We have used the same local Company, Big Eye Tours since its inception 3 years ago. Run by a brother and sister team and born and bred in Olhao they have built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
