Villa Toranja is a beautifully furnished 3 bedroom villa along a row of modern houses built in 2017 and finished to a wonderfully high standard. It has the luxury of its own private swimming pool, small garden, parking, wifi and air conditioning throughout. Located in the small village of Luz de Tavira, this spacious and well-designed house has plenty of space to sleep up to a total of 7 people.
Upon entering Villa Toranja, you immediately enter the bright hallway with a black marble staircase with a silver handrail leading to the upstairs to your right and a hallway leading down to the living area just past that. To the left you will find the ground floor family bathroom. The glass walls between the stairs and the living area provide the entrance with the property with lots of extra light, whilst allowing you to also be able to see through into the kitchen and living area.
The ground floor shared family bathroom on the left hand side offers a considerable size walk in shower, bidet, toilet and large basin with a great deal of storage underneath and grand mirror above. A moveable shelving unit is also located within the bathroom for extra storage for towels and so on. Through the bathroom, access can be gained to the ground floor bedroom, also acting as an ensuite.
As you enter the spacious, light and airy open plan living room in front of you, a whole wall is given over to French windows allowing the house to open up onto the private garden and pool at the back of the property. The living room has a large flat screen television that offers a variety of European channels. A vast grey corner unit style sofa with large comfortable pouf and bold and bright coloured cushions adds comfort and style to the living area too. A large potted plant and reading lamp also provides a more homely feel.
To the rear of the living space is a dining table and 6 chairs (4 white and 2 blue) and a galley style kitchen which is fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. This modern white kitchen is clean and bright with an island with sink and extractor fan in the centre of the room. Stylish artwork is situated on each of the walls providing that extra pop of colour. From the dining area a door leads into the ground floor bedroom, which again further connects to the family bathroom.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The extensive ground floor bedroom is lovely a bright and has twin beds, air conditioning and a wall of large fitted wardrobes. Another wall of French windows slide across to provide access to small garden terrace space to the front of the house. The soft furnishings are a brilliant blue which is reflected in the cushions, throws and pictures along the wall.
As previously mentioned, by the front door is the stairs to the upper floor. The first bedroom on the left offers silver metal bunk beds with a easy to use ladder to the top bunk and one single bed (sleeping 3 children in total). There are fitted wardrobes with built in draws and a small table with a lamp. French windows open on to a large shared terrace (shared with the master bedroom) with frosted glass panels, looking out from the front of the property with views of the sea. On the terrace is a set of bistro style table and chairs to sit at while enjoying the view.
The master bedroom consists of 2 single beds which have been pushed together to make a super kingsize bed. The room also offers fitted wardrobes, air conditioning, matching bedside tables with lamps and a small potted plant, beautiful pictures and an ensuite bathroom. The ensuite is separated with a glass wall through which you will find a walk in shower, basin, bidet and toilet. Again, French windows lead out onto the spacious terrace balcony that is shared with the second bedroom and gives views over the orange groves.
Private Roof Terrace
As you come to the top of the stairs there is an outside door and set of stairs leading up to the roof terrace. The stairs run up the back of the property bringing you to the tiled terrace at the top with solar panels and a 360-degree views of the villa's beautiful surroundings of mountains and sea views.
Parking, Garden and Swimming Pool
Each villa has its own gate into the property which slides across to provide easy access into the driveway to this beautiful villa. Extra parking is also available along the front of the row of houses, outside of the sliding gates.
As you enter through the gates you will see a small terrace garden space to the left in front of the French windows of the ground floor bedroom. As you move further around the house you will come to the glistening private swimming pool with steps leading down safely into the water. Just before the stairs to the pool is the outdoor shower, where you can rinse off before or after entering the pool or to get rid of any sand after spending a sunny day at the beach. The small grassy garden area surrounding the pool is equipped with comfortable sunbeds and chairs as well as a small outdoor table.
Villa Toranja is a beautiful three bedroom villa located in the small village of Luz de Tavira and is around a 10 minute drive from the very popular town of Tavira. It is also very close to the train station so offers great public transport links too. The East Algarve is a wonderful place in which to take your well-earned holiday. The beaches offer islands with miles of golden sand lapped by the crystal blue waters of the sea. The area is still very unspoilt with a strong local atmosphere with an exceptionally friendly feel. With a wonderful selection of places to visit form bustling fishing ports such as Olhao to wonderful calm cities with pavement cafes and cobbled pedestrian areas within Tavira and Vila Real.

Please note the house is surrounded by building works and whilst guests of summer 2019 have not found the works to encroach on their enjoyment of the villa we feel it only right to let potential guests know and the current price reflects this possible inconvenience.

To secure your holiday with us we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price followed by the remainder of the payment 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Upon full payment and completion of the booking form we will send you meeting arrangments, directions and a comprehensive pack of information on the local area.
We can supply Euro and a sterling bank account for payments although if you wish to pay by credit/debit card we are able to provide you with an invoice using Paypal. You will not need to have a Paypal account to use this facility.
We require a damage bond and this is dealt with by way of a credit card slip with credit/debit card details of any person booked into the property. If a card is not avaliable then the payment must be in cash and this will be returned via bank transfer once the holiday is over and upon reciept of bank details.
The holiday price includes a mid stay linen change every 7 days for stays of 14 nights or more.
Bed linen, bath and hand towels along with beach/pool towels are provided within the holiday cost.
WIFI is included but may incur an extra charge please confirm that WIFI is included within the cost of your holiday.
We operate a strict arrival and departure time limit especailly during the summer months. Arrival is after 1600 and departure is before 1000. For arrivals we are happy to meet you at the property after 1000 to drop baggage etc but then entry can not be gained until after 1600 to allow the cleaners to prepare the property to the exceptionally high standard that we at Mars Algarve pride ourselves upon. Departure is strictly before 1000 and failure to depart on time without prior arrangment will result in a financial charge.
Upon arrival you will be met by one of the very helpful Mars Algarve Team they will hand over the keys to your holiday home and take the time to show you the property and tell you about any local information and answer any questions you may have. The Mars Algarve team will then be on hand during your holiday for any issues that may arise.
Before you arrive, we will send you our new guest online welcome book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday property, the local area and has all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. The online book gives you a real insight and allows you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. This also gives you the guest the opportunity to take the book with you wherever you go on your smartphone or tablet, maximising your holiday experience.
"Would recommend this villa to anyone. Communication is very easy with Mars Algarve, they helped to arrange airport transfers, offered suggestions for moped hire and also promptly replaced the bbq gas canister when it was empty. The villa interior is spacious and modern - comfortably sleeping all 7 of us, the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is fantastic as the back doors slide across to make the downstairs merge in with the outside. The pool and back garden although small, were larger than anticipated from the photos and in fact a good size considering the plot of land the villa is situated on. The bbq was a welcome addition and we made good use of it throughout the stay. The location is fantastic, right next to Luz train station which offers direct trains all along Algarve and even up to the North if necessary. (you don't need to pre-buy tickets, there is a conducter on the train who will take payments on the spot). Luz is a very peaceful town with a couple of supermarkets and restaurants. However I would highly recommend going into Tavira for more choice and liveliness, only 5mins on the train(return ticket roughly €2.50). Overall, I would highly recommend Villa Toranja to anyone, families, friends etc. You will not be disappointed at all, 10/10 experience."

Es ist ein sehr nettes Haus, modern eingerichtet. Das drum herum noch gebaut wird, wird vom Vermieter offen kommuniziert und spiegelt sich auch im geringeren Preis nieder. Wenn man tagsüber unterwegs ist, bekommt man von der Baustelle eh nur sehr wenig mit. Wir würden wiederkommen
