Description

Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Villa Artista is a beautiful attached villa with its own private drive. It offers a garden with a private swimming pool, 3 bedrooms to sleep 6 persons, air conditioning and wifi and fabulous sea views from the roof terrace. Located in Luz de Tavira close to the train station so great for easy transport links We also can offer the villa right next door. Villa Toranja is a fabulous villa also with a shared pool and together these villas can make a great 2 family holiday location.

Villa Artista is a simply stunning 3 bedroom linked villa in a small urbanisation of villas. It offers amazing living over 3 floors with a fabulous roof terrace which in turn offers stunning views out to the sea. The private and secluded back garden has been well planned to enjoy summer living and has a superb private swimming pool just for you. 

Entrance

To enter Villa Artista our linked 3 bedroom villa, an electric gate opens up to a parking space and small front garden.  From the parking area, to the side of the villa is the main entrance door leading into the gorgeous open plan living room. 

Living Space

Our linked 3 bedroom villa offers a huge amount of living space in the open plan style. You can enter the living room from the front door and through the glass walled hallway or alternatively from the garden and swimming pool through the huge floor to ceiling glass sliding windows which open fully. 

To the back of the living area is an ultra modern kitchen and breakfast bar. Set looking out to the garden is a rustic dining table and an eclectic mix of dining chairs, reminding you of the artists who own this wonderful villa. Perfectly placed to share conversations with the chef and enjoy the social aspect with all of your holiday party. It is perfect for easy dining with a wonderful view!

Over to the left is a large corner style blue fabric sofa and single chairs that surround a modern blue wall unit, this houses the smart flat screen television. The TV offers a selections of European channels to suit many tastes. A wonderful array of decorations and paintings add to the fabulous style of this space. 

Kitchen

The sleek white kitchen is divided from the living space by a complimentary white breakfast bar and workspace, overhead is an extractor for the electric fitted hob. We have added some bar stools so you can enjoy the cooking experience using all the wonderful fresh produce so easily available in the Algarve.

Practical features include integrated appliances in keeping with the clean and stylish lines. You will find an eye level electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. We have also added a kettle, toaster and a Dulce Gusto capsule coffee machine too. 

The drawers and cupboards are filled with plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, cooking utensils, glasses and so much more. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

On the ground floor of our 3 bedroom linked villa is one bedroom and one bathroom. Located just by the front door and facing towards the front of the villa is the ground floor bedroom. It is laid out with a large super kingsize bed and benefits from the all important air conditioning unit overhead to keep you nice and cool in the hot summers. Fitted wardrobes, a desk and a chair offer plenty of practical features.  Wonderful sliding windows lead out into a small private garden.  We have placed a bistro table and chairs here, it really makes a fabulous to sit of a morning, to relax and contemplate your day.

Next to the bedroom is a bathroom which continues with the modern feel. Fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and a basin set into a smart bright white vanity unit with plenty of storage space available in the cupboards below. 

Heading upstairs you will find a family bedroom fitted with bunk beds, just great for younger members of the family.  This room overlooks the garden and swimming pool to the rear. A desk and some storage have been added, all in smart white in keeping with the lovely fresh and clean feel to the room. The all important air conditioning is set upon the wall. French windows open up onto a terrace with a little table and chairs again offering another private space to enjoy. 

The master bedroom is a little further along the hall and also overlooks the garden at the rear.  A lovely kingsize bed dominates the room with bedside cupboards each side and matching lamps. Overhead is an air conditioning unit, these units can all supply fresh cool air in the summer months but also wonderful cosy warm air in the winter months. 

Fabulous sliding French windows give access to another privet terrace with a bistro style table and chairs and also some comfortable seating again making it a great place to relax and watch the amazing Algarve sunsets.

The en suite bathroom offers a bath and overhead rainforest style shower.  The smart white suite consists of a toilet, bidet and a large basin set into a vanity unit with cupboards below and wall mounted mirror above.

Private Terraces, Garden and Swimming Pool

Each bedroom has its own private little space to simply love. The master bedroom has a terrace that overlooks the garden and swimming pool.  French windows slide open to let you enjoy this tranquil little spot and shutters also help keep a nice cool bedroom.

The family bedroom offers a private terrace, that too overlooks the pool.  French windows give access to the terrace and again shutters are at the windows. Both terraces take in the evening sun so make wonderful places to sit and enjoy the waning sun and sunsets with a cool glass of wine maybe?

The ground floor bedroom has its own private garden to the front of the 3 bedroom linked villa and takes in the rising morning sun. 

This wonderful 3 bedroom like villa has an amazing feature right on the roof top! The roof top terrace has been set out to enjoy the amazing views. Up here, other than the fantastic views, you will find a dining table and chairs and a sofa made from pallets which adds a touch of creativity to the space.  It really is an amazing and tranquil place, you will simply love it. 

Massive French sliding windows and shutters can separate the garden from the living space but why?  Its amazing, open the shutters and the windows and bring the outside in. Enjoy the BBQ, dining table and chairs, lemons and olive trees and soak up the wonderful Algarvian feel to this space. 

The swimming pool really finishes off the wonderful features to this fabulous 3 bedroom linked villa. Smart azul blue tiles give a crystal clear feel to the pool and it makes for a welcome cooling dip in the hot summer months. Surrounding the pool are tiles where you will find sun loungers to lay and simply enjoy a relaxing holiday. 

At the front of the 3 bedroom link villas is a parking area and an electric gate to keep it secure. 

Facilties

Villa Artista is located in the small village of Luz de Tavira, just outside the old Roman town of Tavira. Nearby is a train station to help you get about, but a car would be useful.  This 3 bedroom linked villa really is exceptionally well equipped. The modern facilities make it a great holiday home.  The air conditioning facilities mean it can used all year around so don't just just think of it as a summer holiday base. 

Our lovely 3 bedroom linked villa comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Villa Artista. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.  

And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

     

    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at info@marsalgarve.com.

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

     

    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

     

    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

      

    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
