Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Quilia is a Luxury two bedroom Penthouse apartment with fantastic sea views, air conditioning, shared infinity pool, and private roof terrace with Jacuzzi hot tub. Facilities also include a smart tv, fibre internet and an ensuite bathroom.

Apartment Quilha is a stunning 2 bedroom corner penthouse, apartment located on the exclusive Fuseta Ria Resort which is a short stroll from the centre of the quaint fishing village of Fuseta. 

The design and layout of this beautiful apartment has been planned in such a way as to allow our guests to experience the panoramic views whilst retaining privacy. It benefits from two private outdoor areas. A balcony leading out from the open plan living space and a generous rooftop terrace.


Entry into the lobby of the block of 6 apartments is via a front door operated by a video intercom system. The marble staircase leads to the Penthouse apartment where there is access to only one other apartment on this floor. A solid front door with triple locking security system provides entry to the apartment, which then leads into the bright and spacious open plan living area.

Living Space

The lounge area offers comfortable seating with a double leather sofa and 2 Poang chairs providing plenty of seating for 4 people. The seating has been strategically placed so as to enjoy both the view out through the floor to ceiling doors and the TV which sits upon a light wood, low television unit. The TV offers a selection of European channels to suit all nationalities. A small glass topped drinks table is set in the seating area and is a practical feature to the space. The living area benefits from air conditioning. The dining area is set to the front of this 2 bedroom penthouse apartment and looks out to the spectacular sea view beyond. The dining table, of light oak design seats up to 4 people. Access onto the private balcony is via the floor to ceiling doors which in turn offers stunning views out over the beautiful Ria Formosa National Park and beyond to the ocean.     


This 2 bedroom penthouse apartment benefits from a well equipped kitchen with both wall and base units to three walls. Also boasting fridge freezer, built in oven and microwave, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Included also are a kettle and toaster along with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and drinking glasses.  All providing a great opportunity to try out new recipes, making use of the abundance of local fresh produce to include fish, meat, fruit and vegetables from the market in Fuseta town. The light wood units and white marble style worktop complete the look of this sleek and modern kitchen.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The door off the main living area leads to the rear of this 2 bedroom penthouse apartment giving access to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom boasts a king size light wood framed bed, matching bedside tables with reading lamp and wall mounted mirror. The large sliding windows create a light and airy feel to the room. The white bed linen is crisp and fresh and the splash of blue soft furnishings give the room a tranquil feel. The master bedroom benefits from a luxurious en suite bathroom laid out with a white wall mounted basin with mirror above, toilet and a separate shower cubicle. This bedroom is also equipped with air conditioning offering both cold air for the hot summer months and warm air for the cooler winter evenings. The fitted wardrobes offer additional storage space.

The second bedroom is laid out with two light wood framed single beds, with matching bedside table and reading lamp. The bedroom is also fitted with air conditioning, sliding windows and again plenty of wardrobe space. This bedroom has use of the main bathroom with a full size bath with shower over and glass shower screen, finishing with a basin set into a marble surround and toilet. Both the ensuite and main bathroom are fully tiled with a neutral colour scheme. 

Private Terrace

The large private balcony of our fabulous 2 bedroom penthouse apartment offers a nice area to relax and enjoy the wonderful Algarve sun rise. A bistro table and chairs allow al fresco dining or the perfect spot for enjoying your afternoon coffee or glass of wine whilst absorbing the fantastic sea views. In addition this penthouse apartment benefits from a private roof terrace which is accessed via the internal spiral staircase. A glass panel door leads out onto the terrace and immediately you are met with breath-taking views. The roof terrace has its own Jacuzzi hot tub for 4 people and sun loungers making it a haven for relaxation. We have also placed a five piece rattan style bistro set to the rear of the extensive terrace to enable you to extend your day into the evening for perhaps an aperitif before heading out for dinner. The hot tub is a great feature to use at any time of the day. During the day you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view and tranquil atmosphere or in the evening to extend your relaxing day. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens & Swimming Pool

The swimming pool complex is for the sole use of guests of the Fuseta Ria Resort. It is accessed by way of key card entry system to retain its exclusivity. The complex can be seen from the balcony of the apartment. The upper level pool offers a plunge style pool and overlooks the beautiful vista out to sea. The infinity pool waterfall cascades into the larger pool within the lower level. This area also offers an indoor seating area where refreshments are available via vending machines. Both pools are surrounded by large terraced areas and offer sun loungers and parasols. The Fuseta Ria Resort complex also offers beauty treatments at an additional charge, so why not indulge in some pampering during your stay?

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

    Enjoyable break
    Mars Algarve: This is the second year we booked with Mars Algarve and would definitely book again with the company. Excellent communication, also arrange transfers. We had a couple of issues while we were staying at Apartment Quilha and found them helpful and responsive by telephone and email. Excellent service. The apartment: Reasonably well equipped. Comfortable beds (pillows not so great). Excellent views over the Ria Formosa. Beautiful roof top terrace with benefit of hot tub which was lovely watching sun go down. Slight negative is the stairs to the roof top which wouldn't be suitable for older guests, children or those with any mobility issues. The stairs are very steep and need to be approached more like a ladder which does make taking things up to the roof terrace slightly more challenging. We cooked in a few times and found the kitchen equipment to be adequate for what we needed. Comfortable sun beds on roof terrace. Fuzeta Ria Resort: Excellent location and no need to rent a car as it's just a short walk to the supermarket, provisions market and the village centre. Beautiful views out to sea. We stayed at the resort last year at the same time and it was beautifully quiet. Unfortunately, this year it was considerably busier and in comparison quite noisy. Inside the apartment you can hear alot of noise from your neighbours both during the day and at night. The apartment we rented last year was at the end of the block and although we had people staying next door this wasn't a problem, just a note to bear in mind. We didn't use the pool complex but it looks well kept, clean and pleasant with views out over the sea.

    A beautiful apartment with stunning views

    "A beautiful apartment with stunning views. Sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise and the evening sunset on the roof terrace is amazing. Ocean views from the jacuzzi. Apartment light, well equipped, clean and spacious. Plenty of parking and use off the resort swimming pool. The only negative thing I would say is the stairs to apartment, no lift and steep step ladder to roof terrace but you get used to it. Very enjoyable stay."

    Very nice apartment

    "We were visiting an old friend who currently lives in Fuseta so we wanted somewhere clean, relaxing and close to the centre of the town. This place ticked the box and more. Not only were our expectations met but they were exceeded. The apartment is modern yet comfortable with all necessary touches needed to make our stay comfortable. The roof terrace complete with barbecue and jacuzzi meant that we didn't need to go out every night as we could enjoy our time in the apartment. The only problem we faced was one morning there was excessive noise from the building next door but one quick email to Aline and that problem was solved. We have already stated that we would love to come and stay again and hope that we will be back in the future. Thanks again."

    "Super flat with sea view and a hot tub! A must do is going to the small island in front of the flat by boat. If you go at 9:00 in the morning there is literally nobody on the island. You can find amazing shells! Book the apartment - we would do it again!"

    “The apartment Quilha near Ria Formosa, Fuseta is a beautiful clean apartment with amazing views and facilities .We are a family of 4 adults and has a fantastic holiday .The apartment was extra special with the rooftop hot tub taking in the sun rise and sun set each day was unbelievable .Fuseta is a lovely village with plenty of cafes and fresh fish restaurants and of course the amazing ferry ride over to one the best beaches we have visited on the Algarve with miles of space to walk and swim .We also caught the train (5mins walk from the apartment ) into Olhao one evening for dinner and took a taxi back .We visited Tavira ,Cabanas, Santa Luzia and Praia Verde all well worth a visit and accessible by train although we did have a car as it is so easy to drive around this area .Thank you so much Mars algarve for allowing us to rent this wonderful apartment we would use your services again and certainly recommend your company thank you too to Aileen lovely to meet you.”

    “The space is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The upper deck with jacuzzi is really nice after a long day, however some citronella candles would be beneficial as mosquitoes can be pesky when it’s not breezy out. The apartment overlooks a salt marsh area which is very nice and the walk to town is about 10-15 minutes. Even with no car we didn’t find getting around town too difficult and the train station is easily accessible. Overall it was a good stay!”

    High Class
    We have rented many places throughout Europe and can honestly say that the whole booking process and level of support before and during the stay were some of the best we have experienced. We arrived late Christmas Eve and upon our request the Mars team ensured we had food and drink at the apartment so as to set us up nicely for the stay. The apartment was clean, as described on the website and the hot tub was big enough to accommodate a large group. We can recommend booking direct with Mars Algarve and would book with them again when staying in the area.
