Beautiful ground floor 2 bedroom apartment on a small complex

A fabulous 2 bedroom apartment at ground floor level with a large private terrace and BBQ. Located on the small, well maintained and popular complex of Terracos de Cabanas. Facilities include access to a shared pool and gardens, air conditioning and WIFI.

Apartment Vinha is a simply gorgeous 2 bedroom apartment at ground floor level in a small complex of apartments 3 storeys high. It offers a lovely large terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ.

At one end of the complex is a large garden area with a fabulous swimming pool to share with residents at Terracos de Cabanas Complex. The complex also has the added facility of secure underground parking.


Terracos de Cabanas comprises of 2 small blocks of apartments opposite each other with secure parking below and a swimming pool and gardens and one end of the blocks. Along each side of the blocks is extra off road parking. Access to the block with our 2 bedroom apartment is via a secure door with intercom facilities. A lobby area give access to the apartments and either stairs or a lift give access to the upper floors.

Apartment Vinha our super 2 bedroom apartment is located as you enter the lobby. The solid door is secured with a 5 lever lock and opens into a small hallway giving access to the rest of the 2 bedroom apartment.

Living Space

From the front door of the 2 bedroom apartment a small hallways leads to and opens up into a large light, open plan and spacious living area.

To the left one wall is given to large sliding french windows that open up on to a super large private terrace. These windows let in maximum light and when open make feel the outside outside comes in in turn giving a really lovely large summer open feel to the room. The windows are fitted with shutters that can be closed to keep the room cool, safe and secure. These are great to keep shut during the day when you are out on the beach or sightseeing as you will come home to a nice cool room.

Dominating the living space in our splendid 2 bedroom apartment we have placed a lovely huge white corner unit style sofa with a mix of grey and silver scatter cushions. This provides a very enjoyable place to sit and read, listen to music a watch the television. The television is a smart tv set on a modern black metal tv unit and offers a selection of European channels to try and cater for all Nationalities. The wifi box can be
located here and offers great wifi throughout the 2 bedroom apartment.

An arm chair offers a great place to sit and enjoy the terrace and a coffee table by the sofa adds comfort and flexibility to the room.

A simple, modern and functional dining table and fore chrome and white chairs make up the room for a great place for eating family meals together. Behind the sofa is a serving space from the kitchen to confirm Apartment Vinha offers super easy holiday living.

The furniture is modern, with clean lines, white and black to provide an exceptionally comfortable modern and clean living space for your holiday. A super efficient air conditioning unit sits on the wall above the sofa and offers a dual use. In the summer it can be used to cool the room and in the winter it can be used to warm the room on the slightly cooler evenings. 


Upon entering the 2 bedroom apartment the kitchen is located t the eft just from the small hallway. It is a full kitchen in a galley style. beautifully styled and wonderfully modern each side of the room offers a good selections of fitted lacquer white kitchen units and fitted appliances. Along the left wall is a fitted oven and gas hob with a pull out extractor fan above. An integral dishwasher, a fitted sink and drainer and plenty of black marble work space. Above and below the work top is cupboards filled with cooking utensils, pots, pans, serving dishes, crockery, cutlery, coffee and tea mugs and plenty of glasses.

We have provided a kettle toaster and capsule coffee machine for your use and also you will find an integral microwave along with a full size fitted fridge freezer. The kitchen also offers a fitted washing machine nicely hidden behind the modern white kitchen unit doors.

To the right of the galley kitchen is more work space and cupboards below and an open space to be able to pass through to the living space wonderfully cooked food breakfast and drinks providing a nice simple solutions to the open plan living but keeping the kitchen a little ore separate from the main room.

At the end of the kitchen large glass doors open on to the terrace that run the length of the apartment again offer great access to the dining space on the terrace to add to the ease of al fresco living.

To get you started on your self catering holiday we provide kitchen towels and small amount of washing up liquid, hand soap, dishwasher tablets and washing powder.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

An archway from the living room leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. First on the left is a family bathroom in our 2 bedroom apartment. decorated in stylish, chic and modern black, grey and white tiles and offers a pleasant area. A basin is set into a grey marble vanity unit wit cupboard space behind white doors below. Here you can find a hairdryer for your use. Above the vanity unit is a super large mirror. To the left is a fantastic walk in shower with a rainforest effect. then to the right you will find a toilet and bidet. We provide a small amount of toilet roll to get you started on your self catering holiday.

The master bedroom in our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is a wonderfully large and spacious room with soft laminate floors and white walls decorated with sea themed pictures. Double aspect windows look out to the front of the building, offering that natural light but have the added convenience of shutters to keep the bedroom cool and dark. A large kingsize bed dominates the room and offers comfortable sleeping. The bed is made with freshly laundered crips white linen and we provide both hand and bath towels along with a beach/pool towel. Each side of the bed is matching chic bedside cupboards with drawer and shelf space. Each offers a bedside lamp for that ambient feel. This bedroom benefits form a modern air conditioning unit that can provide a pleasant cool breeze in the hot summer months but also a warm comforting atmosphere in the cooler winter evenings. The master bedroom in our 2 bedroom apartment also offers built in wardrobes providing plenty of space to store your holiday clothes.

Attached to the master bedroom in this super 2 bedroom apartment is an en suite bathroom. Tiled with bright azul blue wall tiles, grey floor tiles and white walls the bathroom provided a modern and clean space. There is a full size bath and an excellent overhead shower. A bidet and toilet along with a basin set in to a modern and stylish grey marble vanity unit.
Below are cupboards hidden behind white doors offering space for toiletries and cosmetics and also here you will find a hairdryer for your use. Above the basin is a massive mirror with lighting for your use.

The second bedroom in our wonderful 2 bedroom apartment is slightly smaller and offers a window giving lovely light but also with a shutter to provide a nice dark and cool room. The bed is a nice large kingsize bed with matching beside units, both with the facility of a drawer and shelf room along with modern and tasteful lamps. The floor is warm and soft laminate and the wall are white and again decorated with sea themes reminding you you are on a wonderful holiday beside the sea!

Private Terrace

From the living space and kitchen of this perfect 2 bedroom ground floor apartment access to the private terrace is via large French windows all with aqua blue shutters adding a seaside colour theme to the building.

The terrace runs the length of the apartment and is tiled with grey/white floor tiles and enclosed by a waist height white wall. Lights are set in to the wall to give you wonderful and ambient lighting during the evenings as the warm climate offers and extra place to enjoy the 2 bedroom apartment Vinha.

A superb and modern white table and 4 chairs offer a great place to enjoy the terrace and indulge in some outside living with drinks and al fresco dining. A parasol offers some welcome shade and a BBQ give you the chance to try your bbq coking skills with all the wonderful fresh produce that can be bought at the daily markets.

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Apartment Vinha is situated within a nice small complex of well kept apartments. At one end of the building is a ramp access to the underground secure parking area. At the other end of the buildings is a lovely large grassed area enclosed by fencing and hedges to provide privacy. The gardens are only accessed via a coded gate provided to residents and guests of the complex only.

Within the garden area is a huge swimming pool for residents and guests use only along with sun loungers for you to enjoy some relaxing time. Gentle Roman style steps give access to the pool making it a good choice for children and families. 


Apartment Vinha our wonderful 2 bedroom ground floor apartment offers superb, modern holiday living and is exceptionally well equipped for you to enjoy and fantastic holiday at this apartment and complex. Terracos de Cabans is modern and well maintained and offers excellent facilities with the swimming pool and parking. Situated less than a 10 minute walk through quiet residential streets to the flotillas of boats for the Cabanas Island beach is makes a great holiday location.

Nearby is the train station, taxi ranks and buses so there is no need for a car if you wish. Cabanas offers a wonderful selection of amazing places to eat. A promenade offers a wonderful way to enjoy the sights and sounds of this super little old Portuguese fishing village.

Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

Damages Protection

Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with repsect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

On the payment page you will find two tabs.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information


Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress  €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.


Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

Beautifully presented
The apartment is beautiful, modern and clean and child friendly. Tucked away in the heart of Cabanas where you can enjoy a peaceful night sleep. The seafront is only a 10 minutes walk and this is where you can find all the bars and restaurants too. There are plenty to choose from. The apartment is super clean and very comfortable. There is a large terrace where you can enjoy morning coffee or even a barbecue. The pool is great and private and makes a nice change from the beach.Will definitely stay in the apartment again.

We really enjoyed our time in Cabanas de Tavira, the apartment is really well equipped, Wi-fi, swimming pool, underground garage, TV, coffee machine, and very well decorated, simple and comfortable. We would like to thank to Samantha and the team at Mars Algarve, they made us feel very welcome and always happy to help. The apartment is located less than 10 minutes walking to the beach and bar/restaurant area, but still quiet and peaceful. Will definitely come back!!!
