Apartment Lusitana is a simply stunning 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace, it is located on the small complex of Royal Cabanas Beach Club.  Mixed with less than 30 other apartments this is a small and peaceful complex close to the seafront. The apartment offers excellent wifi, air conditioning and a super private roof terrace. 


This fabulous 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace is part of a small complex of apartments and is accessed via Rua Das Pescadores. The entrance to the building is always kept locked and accessed with either a key or via an intercom system. The lobby has a few steps to a central lift that accesses all floors. Apartment Lusitana is on the top floor to the right. 

Living Space

Our fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace opens up into a wonderful open plan living area with a fantastic vaulted ceiling giving a superb feeling of space and light. Newly furnished in Summer 2019 the furniture is modern stylish and comfortable. 

Light floor tiles and cream walls make for a light and pleasant room with bright colourful pictures and decorations to add a touch of vibrancy and interest to the space. 

To the rear of the room is a lovely light wood dining table with 4 white and light wood matching  dining chairs, all perfectly located close to the kitchen.

The centre of the living space is dominated by an ultra modern corner style grey fabric sofa facing both towards a flat screen "smart" television and also out to the private balcony. Bright cushions add a touch of colour to the sofa. Smartly placed against the wall is a chic tv stand with cupboards and shelves below, along with a matching blue and white cupboard offering a nice practical storage solution for you holiday collections.

Huge floor to ceiling sliding glass windows allow the wonderful climate of the Algarve into the space giving this 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace a wonderful al fresco feel. 

The doors lead out onto private terrace that overlooks the complex gardens, terraces and swimming pool. Fitted with practical shutters and dressed with nice smart curtain the windows add a fabulous dimension to this room.

A breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the living space and offers a great solution to the open plan living style. 


The kitchen in our fabulous 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace is galley style and can be found to the left of the front door of the apartment. It is divided from the living space with a practical breakfast bar. 

Along the wall is a selection of fixed kitchen units either below or above the marble work surface. We have made sure they are well stocked for a full and working family kitchen.  You will find a huge choice of cooking utensils, plates, mugs, glasses, Bowels, serving dishes, pots, pans and much more. 

Equipped with modern fitted appliances to include a dishwasher washing machine, microwave, full size fridge freezer, gas hob with 4 rings set in brushed chrome with an overhead extractor and a full size fitted oven. We have thought of the smaller details too by providing a kettle, toaster and capsule coffee machine.

Floor to ceiling glass sliding doors allow access to the private terrace and also here you will find the washing machine. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Apartment Lusitana is a fabulous 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace and the master bedroom has the added luxury of en suite bathroom facilities. 

To the right of the front door and behind the living space is the door to the master bedroom.  Upon entering the room to the left is the en suite bathroom, styled in cream and nut coloured mosaic style tiles with a full size bathroom suite in white to include a bath with overhead shower, toilet, bidet and basin set in smart vanity unit with plenty of space for toiletries below and a wonderful large mirror overhead. 

The master bedroom offers a super large kingsize bed with a smart brown fabric headboard, each side is matching bedside units with matching lamps.  The decor is calm and pleasant for the room.  Delicate fabric curtains hang around a glass door that leads to a small balcony, a perfect morning coffee spot.  To offer a nice dark room the door offers shutters and overhead is a brand new air conditioning unit. 

Along side the master bedroom is the second bedroom laid out with 2 single beds. In keeping with a gentle and calm feel each bed has a smart brown headboard and made with fresh white, crisp linen but decorated with throws and cushions to add a touch of interest to the room. This room also offers a glass door to a  small balcony and in keeping with the practicality of the 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace it also offers shutters and an air conditioning unit. These units are fabulous for keeping the apartment nice and fresh and cool during the summer but also offer cosy warm air for those cooler winter evenings.

Next to the twin room is a separate bathroom styled in a modern and clean feel with smart finishings to comment the 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace. It offers a walk in shower, toilet and basin set over a vanity unit and overhead mirror. 

Private Terraces

This super 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace offers a wonderful selection of outside spaces to enjoy including a fabulous private roof terrace. 

From each bedroom is a small balcony that looks over the country side and mountains and they benefit from evening sun. In turn the chance to see some amazing Algarve sunsets.

From both the living room and kitchen, doors lead out to a fantastic terrace with a simply amazing brick built traditional bbq at one end.  By far the best way to cook here in the Algarve. This terrace overlooks the swimming pool, sun terraces and gardens. Being a smaller complex this area tends to be quite calm and enjoyable any time of the year. This terrace makes for a great place to sit and enjoy a quiet drink and meals at home. You will find a smart outdoor dining set with a table and 4 chairs. 

Access to the super private terrace, the wonderful added luxury to this apartment is from the lower balcony via a set of iron steps. This super place is private and offers sea views across the lagoons of Cabanas creating a calm and tranquil atmosphere and place to enjoy some private sunbathing and relaxing. Equipped with sun loungers this perfect little haven is the jewel to Apartment Lusitana.

Communal Spaces, Gardens and swimming Pool

Apartment Lusitana our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace is placed within the smaller complex of Royal Cabanas Beach Club, a complex of just 30 apartments. This means the communal space can be calmer and more relaxed than most complexes in the area of Cabanas. The huge swimming pool offers a glorious waterfall feature and dominates the centre of the gardens and terraces, giving every apartment a lovely clear view of the swimming pool. It has a gentle gradient from the shallow end at the  front of the pool into a deeper area perfect for swimming.

Surrounding the pool and on a traditional Santa Catarina tile terrace is a selection of sun loungers for you to enjoy. At one end of the complex is a small garden area with local shrubs and flowers. The whole area makes for a pleasant space for all to enjoy. The centre of the complex and pool is accessed either via doors from the street that are all  secured with coded locks or from the secure underground car parking area giving you the sense of security and privacy.


Apartment Lusitana will not fail to give you a great holiday. Every details has been thought of to provide an excellent holiday base in a great village. Extra touches including the underground car park and extra roof terrace space make this a great holiday spot. 

Our wonderful 2 bedroom apartment with roof terrace is in a super central location meaning, if you done want to their is no need to bring a car.  All travel links are very close by and it is an easy walk to see really superb cafes and restaurants. The walk to the boats for the beach is a wonderful stroll along the sea front too.

Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

Damages Protection

Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with repsect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information


Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress  €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.


Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
