Welcome to Villa Canada - your home away from home in the beautiful Algarve. This modern 3 bedroom townhouse style villa with 3 floors is located within the very popular resort of O Pomar Holiday Village in Cabanas de Tavira. On the resort you have the choice of two restaurants/bars, supermarket, gym and aesthetics. The villa is merely 1600 m away from the waterfront where you may enjoy an assortment of great restaurants, cafes, shops and more or enjoy the day at one of the many majestic local beaches.
The 3 bedroom linked villa is located on a nice quiet street with similar villas where you will find ample private parking. A private entrance leads to the front door of Villa Canada. The front door opens up into a short hallway with a cloakroom and powder room on the right. The hallway precedes the brightly lit stone staircase which encircles the modern glass elevator, both of which lead to the upper floors. Continuing past the stairs leads to the bright and open concept living space.
Please note unless specifically requested the elevator will not be in use.
The living room in this super 3 bedroom linked villa is an open concept design, laid out to make the most of the space and facilities this villa offers.
Upon entering the living room from the hallway, look to your left and you will discover the large American style chef's kitchen. To the right of the kitchen and within the open plan living space, enjoy your meals in the modern dining area offering a large dining table offering plenty of seating space. Or dine al fresco style on the stylish aluminum outdoor dining table and chairs only a few steps away from the kitchen.
The lounge area is beautifully furnished, fashioned with a mix of modern and tradition, the room is designed to be stylish and comfortable. Rest easy on the luxurious large sofa and sophisticated arm chairs with bright and colourful cushions that surround a central light wood coffee table complementing the dining table.
The large gas fire place set within light marble with a mantle serve as the focal point of the living space, offering warmth and ambiance in the winter months. Over the fireplace is a large flat screen Smart television offering easy viewing of a wide selection of European and American channels to enjoy in several languages.
The space is brought together with a variety of contemporary prints hanging on the light cream coloured walls providing a splash of colour and vibrancy. The light tile floors keep in step with the modern smart style of this 3 bedroom linked villa.
An abundance of wonderful natural Algarvian light illuminates the space through a side window and large full glass French-style sliding doors. Both the windows and french windows are dressed with light flowing curtains adding softness to the room. Opening the sliding doors leads to the outdoor terrace, combining the outside space with the living room for a refreshing al fresco feel. But when privacy is desired, simply engage the electric shutters to both the window and the doors, ensuring security and more importantly, keeping a comfortable and cool space in the summer months.
Wonderfully spacious and well equipped, the kitchen in our 3 bedroom linked villa is well siutated for the dining table and the BBQ on the outdoor terrace, allowing for easy entertaining and dining. The kitchen can be segregated from the living space with a sliding door.
Well fitted with modern rosewood and clean white cabinets, the kitchen offers ample storage. The cupboards and drawers are stocked with a plethora of kitchen utensils, pots, pans and serving dishes. And with a setting of plates, cutlery, glasses, cups and more for 12 people, you can easily host a large group or avoid running the dishwasher after ever meal. Wine glasses, gin goblets, champagne flutes, and highballs allow for a variety of entertaining and celebrating.
The kitchen provides a great selection of larger appliances, including a full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing/dryer machine. Cooking facilities include a full-size integral oven, a fitted microwave and a ceramic hob with 4 cooking surfaces set into a fantastic dark marble work surface with an overhead extractor fan.
Modern red appliances add to the allure and convenience including a Nescafe capsule espresso maker, a drip coffee brewer, a kettle and a toaster, all can be found resting on the work surface.
Next to the back door that leads to the patio area is a large chrome sink with a chrome mixer tap. Above the sink is a window to let in the light and offer pleasant views to the terrace and landscape. The back door from the kitchen leads to the stone terrace and back garden. A traditional Portuguese charcoal bbq is inset just outside the kitchen with plenty of space and shelves. This style bbq is very popular in the Algarve for a reason, it grills amazingly flavourful food!
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Master Suite - Second Floor
Our fortunate guests of our marvelous 3 bedroom lined villa will enjoy a private oasis on the second and top floor totally dedicated to the master suite. In the centre of the bedroom is a luxurious super king bed book ended by end tables complementing the modern wood headboard trimmed in black. Light blue flowing curtains set on chrome rods shade the doors and windows adding to the style of the room.
Air conditioning can be used either to cool or warm the room. The window beside the bed provides a view of the country side and mountains of the Algarve beyond Cabanas. A door leads out to a small terrace overlooking where our guests can enjoy the surrounding gardens and the evening sun.
The ensuite bathroom is designed with modern finishes and includes a large walk in shower with glass doors, white ceramic toilet and a ceramic oval basin set into a modern wood vanity with a cupboard below. Over the basin is a large mirror and light.
Towards the front of the master suite is another room with large fitted wardrobes accessed through sliding doors, providing plenty of space and storage for you holiday clothes and items. In the wardrobe you will find a digital safe to securely store passports, jewelry and any other valuables. A cozy grey fabric chaise sofa calls to you to finish that book as you sip on your favourite hot beverage from the in-suite Nescafe espresso maker.
A full glass sliding door with electric shutters leads to the personal private roof top terrace. Equipped with two comfortable loungers along with modern rope chairs and a table, this terrace provides the optimal place for rest and relaxation while enjoying the afternoon sun.
Bedrooms - First Floor
On the first floor of the 3 bedroom linked villa we find the two more spacious bedrooms: one located at the back of the villa and one at the front. Like the master suite, both of these bedrooms offer our guests their own personal quarters as each room is equipped with a private ensuite bathroom with tub or shower and a personal private terrace to enjoy the outdoors. The beds can be configured as two twins or one double bed depending on our guest's preference.
The second bedroom at the rear of the villa overlooks the gardens and cobbled paths and offers a quiet and relaxed space. The beds are made with freshly laundered white linen and styled with dark, grey, silver and blue colours. Each side of the beds enjoys a bedside table with a lamp accompanying the headboards. Fitted wardrobes with sliding doors offer plenty of storage and the air conditioning can be used either to cool or warm the room. A door leads on to a private terrace.
This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a full-size bath, overhead shower, a toilet and basin in white ceramic set into a modern wood vanity with storage below. A large mirror hangs over the basin.
The third bedroom at the front of the villa is also a twin room with two large single beds. This room is styled in blues and silver with bright cushions and colourings over the fresh crisp white linen providing splash of vibrancy to the room. The silver headboards give a hint of opulence while the bedside tables offer practicality with the lamps and storage.
Wardrobes fitted with sliding doors offer ample space and storage and air conditioning keeps with the practical theme offering cool or warm air depending on the time of year.
The ensuite bathroom offers a walk-in shower, white ceramic toilet and basin set into a modern wood vanity of the same design as the other bathrooms maintaining the theme throughout the villa.
Sliding doors open up on to a terrace overlooking the quiet street, perfect for morning sunshine. Shutters offer a nice dark and cool space perfect for a restful slumber. Silver grey curtains dress the windows and give an easy-going feel to the room.
A winding and central light stone staircase with bannisters lead to the upper floors. Here is also a small elevator in the centre that also gives access to each floor, but will only be activated upon request.
Private Terraces and Garden
On the ground floor there are many ways to enjoy the patio at the rear of the 3 bedroom linked villa, accessible from either the living room or kitchen. A superb brick built charcoal bbq offers a uniquely Portuguese cooking experience. A sharp light coloured aluminum table and 6 chairs offer a great place for al fresco living and dining surrounded by local plants and flowers. Along the back of the villa is a traditional cobbled path leading the village square of O Pomar where you will find the restaurants/bars, convenience shop, gym, aesthetics, children's playground and the amazing swimming pools.
Each bedroom offers a private terrace to enjoy equipped with a chic noire round table and modern rope chairs to either enjoy the waning sun or morning sunshine. The rooms at the front of the villa offer the best sun worshipping at the beginning of the day while the terraces at the rear offer amazing sunsets to enjoy.
The Master suite at the top of the 3 bedroom linked villa provides two terraces to enjoy both at the front and rear of the villa offering the sun anytime of day.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool.
This stunning 3 bedroom linked villa lays within the very popular Holiday Village of O Pomar. This area is a selection of low level block of apartments and houses built to an exceptional standard and well kept and maintained with bright colours and a pleasant aspect. O Pomar has its own village square surrounded by palm trees and a central fountain. Each side is landscaped with gardens and shrubs making it a relaxing and enjoyable place. Around the square is a variety of places to enjoy including bars, restaurants, local shop, gym and other great spaces.
The swimming pool is fenced making it a pleasant and safe place to enjoy. Surrounding the house pool is a selection of sun loungers for your use. The pool is divided into two sections and offers plenty of bathing space for all with deeper and shallow areas, great for the whole family. There is an even a seasonal pool bar to quench any thirst.
The entire Holiday Village of O Pomar has been especially designed to provide open spaces and gardens to ensure a relaxing and easy atmosphere. The Village is set with in the heart of Cabanas de Tavira and is a short, flat 15 minute walk to the popular sea front and promenade with a fantastic choice of restaurants, cafes, shops and more. From here, there is easy access to the lagoon beach or by water taxi to the ocean beach. Boat tours, water sports and other great activities can also be easily found on the promenade.
Villa Canada is a fantastic 3 bedroom linked villa with unique luxury amenities to enjoy. Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.
The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome Book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans
Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us.
To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption.
We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Children and Babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
