Superb Penthouse with roof terrace, 2 bedrooms, wifi and Air con
Apartment Marmelo is a beautiful penthouse apartment with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms. Located within the Cabanas Golf Resort it is in a perfect location for a golf trip being within walking distance on Benamor Golf Club. Also a great choice for summer as Cabans is a fabulous Village with a stunning island beach.
Our super penthouse apartment with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms is located within a block of 6 apartments and access is via a communal door from the street. This is locked door and can only be open with a key or by the apartment intercom system. Located at 2nd floor level you can use either stairs or a lift to access the upper floors. The front door of Apartment Marmelo is a nice and solid with a good local and an intercom privacy system.
The front door opens up into a central hallway that runs the length of the apartment and each room is places on each side of the hallway with the master bedroom en suite at the end of the hallway.
The living and dining space of our wonderful penthouse is placed in the centre of the apartment and an archway leads from the central hallway to the left and into the living space.
Once through the arch to the left is a smart and modern black glass and chrome dining table with 4 stylish white leather effect chairs. Directly in front is two comfortable brown leather style sofas with some colourful scatter cushions to ad a touch of colder and style to the space. One sofas faces towards the large windows that overlooks the quiet street and the top of a palm terra just to remind you that you are on your holidays! The other faces to a a large flat screen televise set upon a dark wood tv unit. The television channels supplied give a good mix of European channels to suit most Nationalities. Then between the sofas is a matching black glass and chrome coffee table.
As you enter our penthouse apartment with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms to the left is a separate kitchen. Along one wall is a banof well fitted kitchen cupboards and a smart marble work surface. Fitted appliances include a fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob and a pullout over head extractor.
We have made sure you will find the kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes, crockery, cutlery and such more. We wanted to make sure the kitchen was as you would expect to find in a family home so you could really enjoy the wonderful locally grown produce of the Algarve and the freshly caught fish and seafood you will find at the daily market.
We have added smaller appliances for your comfort, a capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. Attached to the kitchen is a small utility space where you will find a washing machine and some cleaning utensils.
Before tourism the Algarve was know for farming and fishing. Still today so many traditional continue for you to enjoy in the Algarve cuisine.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Right at the end of this glorious penthouse with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms is the master bedroom. The bedroom door opens up into an ensuite master bedroom and it can be totally operate from the rest of the penthouse.
As you enter the bedroom a fitted wardrobe faces you and offers plenty fo space behind the sliding doors for all your holiday belongings. To the right is then the ensuite bathroom styled in modern light brown and cream tiles. The en suite offers a full size bath along with a shower set behind a glass frame. The white ceramic facilities also include a toilet, bidet and basin set on a light wood floating vanity unit with curd belt offering that all important storage space. Then above the basin is a huge mirror.
The master bedroom offers a nice large king size bed with a rich dark wood headboard and two matching bedside table and reading lamps. An air conditioning unit offers a mix of either warmth for the cooler winter months and fresh cool air for those hot balmy summer days.
To the front of the bedroom is French sliding window doors that open up onto a terrace that can be either accessed from the master bedroom or the twin bedroom and in turn steps to the roof terrace. Shutters offer a nice dar and cool bedroom when needed too.
The twin bedroom is next to the living space and offers 2 single beds with a bedside table in the centre with a lamp. Fitted wardrobes with sliding doors and air conditioning add those practical but needed features.
French windows with shutters lead not a lovey balcony. Just perfect for that morning coffee and watching the beautiful Algarve sunrises.
Lastly the penthouse has the added extra of a family bathroom and it is just as you enter the apartment by the front door. It offers a smart shower cubicle, basins and toilet all in modern smart clean white ceramic.
Apartment Marmelo has lots of outside space to enjoy. Leading from both bedrooms via sliding French windows is a lovely balcony that overlook the quiet street below and across to the mountains behind Cabanas. It makes a perfect spot for al fresco dining and we have placed a table and chairs here for you to enjoy. The balcony also makes a great place for that all important morning coffee or breakfast at home.
At one end of the balcony is a metal spiral staircase that leads up to a private roof terrace solely for the penthouse. This use is just fabulous and really adds superb extra enjoyment to this penthouse.
We have made sure the terrace is equipped well so you can really enjoy the space. You will find a traditional brick built bbq. I think there are by far the best way to bbq food here in the Algarve. You will find sun loungers so you can relax and enjoy the Algarve sunshine along with anther dining table and 4 chars. I simply wonderful space to really enjoy your holiday at parent Marmelo.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
Our Penthouse with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms has access to a fabulous swimming pool and gardens. The huge pool is located within the Cabanas Golf complex and surrounded by apartments and well kept gardens with lawns and palm trees swaying in the warm Algarve breeze.
The pool is surrounded by sun loungers for you to use and in summer parasols are placed around the pool to give some shade for those who may wish to read or enjoy the sun but with a little shade and protection.
At one end of the pool is easy access step built into the pool so you can either sit and enjoy a gentle paddle and have a good swim as the pool is a nice big size.
Surrounding the Cabanas Golf buildings is plenty off road parking for your car. Although the complex is is a great location so you don't need a car if you would rather not.
This fantastic Penthouse with a roof terrace and 2 bedrooms offers excellent modern and easy living. In a perfect location for everything you could need. Shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are all nearby and the walk to the boats for the beach is flat and easy. You will ind it very easy to use taxis or Uber and the train station is also in very easy walking distance

Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.
The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with repsect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference
Tab 2 Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information
Equipment hire for children and babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process.
We offer the following,
Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night
Travel cots and mattress €5 per night
High chairs €5 per night.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
