Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Tamboril is a pleasant 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment on a small and calm resort, just one block away from the sea front. Overlooking the shared pool and private terraces this apartment is perfectly located for a fabulous holiday with family. The modern facilities offer a great space to enjoy all year around. Includes WIFI, secure parking, and Air conditioning.

Apartment Tamboril is a beautifully furnished 1st floor ,2 bedroom, spacious apartment that overlooks the swimming pool on a small and quiet holiday resort of around 30 apartments. 


Security and privacy is a large part of the enjoyment of Royal Cabanas Beach Resort. To enter the complex is either by locked lobby doors or intercom. The apartments can also be accessed by list form the internal underground garage.  A lift or and internal staircase can be used to reach the upper floors.

The apartment has a solid wood door with a 5 lever lock and opens up into a wonderful open plan light and spacious living area. A perfect holiday living space any time of the year. 

Living Space

This 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment has an amazing living space and every little detail has been considered.  From the front door the rom opens up with a solid light wood dining table and 4 chairs placed to the back of the room and close to the kitchen door and breakfast bar. 

A matching sideboard and cupboard offers lots of storage space for your holiday belongings. They had some style and features to the room too. 

The front of the living space is dominated by a huge super soft and contemporary "L" stye sofa, brand new for Summer 2019. Set so you can enjoy views throughout the French sliding windows on to the private balcony and also towards the large flat screen television set on a unit to match the rest of the living room furniture. 

The tv offers a good mix of European channels and here you will also find the internet router that provides excellent speed wifi throughout the 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment. 

Soft furnishings are in line with a gentle seaside feel.  The living space is stylish, well maintained and offers perfect year round living with the addition of an air condition  unit that offers cool fresh air in the ht summer months and warm cosy air in the cooler winter months. 

Along the front wall is floor to ceiling French sliding windows that can be fully opened to bring the outside in and give the feel of a whole extra living space to love and enjoy. 


We have made sure the kitchen is fully equipped as you would expect from any family kitchen. 

Fitted kitchen units offer plenty of space and are stocked with its of crockery, pots, pans, dishes, cups and mugs and lots of glasses for those holiday drinks on the balcony. 

Appliances include a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A gas hob and electric over with an overhead extractor. 

Smart dark marble work surface adds a touch of luxury and on the work top you will see  capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster and microwave. 

The breakfast bar makes a great feature and a place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine watching the cook at work. 

A glass door leads on to the private balcony, giving an easy way to bring the food and drink form the kitchen to the wonderful outside space . 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Our 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment provides a superb and agreeable sleeping space. The bedrooms are set as the master bedroom with a large kingsize bed in solid light wood with matching bedside units on beachside of the bed with matching lamps. Fitted wardrobes with sliding doors offer that all important space for your holiday clothes and shoes. 

The master bedroom offers and ensuite bathroom. Beautifully styled with mosaic tiles in cream and nut brown. The en suite offers a bath with an overhead shower, a toilet and bidet and then s basin set not a smart vanity cupboard offering plenty of space for all those holiday toiletries and cosmetics. 

Each bedroom has a window style door that ends on to a small balcony.  They face in the direction to enjoy the simply beautiful Algarve sun sets. Shutters help to make the bedroom nice and dark, perfect for wonderful holiday lie ins!

The second bedroom is set and twin single beds with a matching bedside unit and lamp in the centre. Equipped with fitted wardrobes and the balcony the rooms a large and pleasant space. 

The twin room has use of a shared bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. 

Private Terraces

This simply fabulous 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment has more than your average outside space. At the front of the apartment and looking into the Royal Cabanas Beach complex you will find an extra large terrace. Overlooking the terraces and pool this balcony is in a great location.

To make the most of the space that can be accessed for huge sliding window for the living room and kitchen we have placed a large outside dining set. The balcony enjoys the morning sun until around 6pm so is in a simply perfect spot to really get the most form the super Algarve sunshine. 

Each bedroom has a small balcony and these are perfectly located to watch the amazing Algarve sunsets with maybe an end of the evening glass of wine or liquer. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool. 

The swimming pool at Royal Cabanas Beach is totally enclosed by the buildings of the complex and surrounded by the apartments, each one has a great view of the pool due to its size and location. With a gentle slope and easy steps it makes for a perfect pool for people of any age to enjoy.

Surrounding the pool are traditional tiled terraces and you will find sun loungers and parasols left for all to enjoy and share. 

The resort is totally enclosed, secure and private. Underneath is a huge garage and our 2 bedroom 1st floor apartment has its own allocated parking space. 


Apartment Tamboril is located on the 1st floor and has 2 excellent size bedrooms and a huge living area. This modern apartment is very well equipped and offers shutters on all windows, 2 bathrooms, one being en suite, air conditioning in every room that can be used to either heat or cool. Wifi is a fantastic speed in any room and the television offers a good selection of channels. 

The balconies make a great outside space and the facilities within the complex are well maintained and enjoyable. 

There is no need to hire a car as our 2 bedroom 1st floor apartment is right next to the sea front and promenade. The boats for h beach are an easy flat walk along the front.  At the end of the road is a supermarkets and Cabans had plenty of buses and even a train station.

Our lovely 2 bedroom 1st floor apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will ook after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Tamboril. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.  

And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

    Great apartment, clean and nicely furnished. Ideal for our family holiday. Can see the kids in the pool from the balcony, great for us oldies. Airport pick arranged by Mars was simple and straightforward. The booking system and info by Mars was also very good.

    Long Term Stay Winter
    ​We would certainly consider staying here again and recommend your services in particular, to family and friends. We enjoyed Cabanas Beach for its position and access to all the facilities on the waterfront as well as the Spar supermarket for supplies, including the good wines.​ Cabanas is a good place for walking, eating and drinking and generally relaxing. Our holiday was greatly improved by Milton. His introduction and response to the minor problems was great, please thank him very much. Will add a review to Trip advisor.

    The apartment was clean and spacious. Finding it was not difficult and Olga was able to check us in early and show us around. Short walk to the wooden broadwalk and all the shops and cafes. Timborell was part of a smaller complex with it’s own pool. We were very pleased with our choice.
