Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Petunia is a simply stunning 2 bedroom penthouse set on a quiet cobbled street with an amazing private roof terrace and balcony overlooking the swimming pool at Cabanas Beach Club. Little luxuries include air conditioning, WIFI, BBQ and private parking

Apartment Petunia is a simply superb penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms. It offers the added extra of a wonderful private roof terrace. Equipped with excellent modern facilities to include good wifi, air conditioning, secure parking and access to a swimming pool within the complex.


To enter our fabulous penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms you will find a communal entrance door with an intercom system then either enclosed stairs or a lift can take you to the upper floors. Apartment Petunia is coated on the top and second floor along with one other apartment.  The solid front door opens up into the gorgeous open plan living space of this fabulous penthouse. 

Living Space

Our penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms offers a great living space with modern and comfortable furnishings.  The open plan arrangements offers 2 super soft dark chocolate leather stale sofas with soft, bright cushions. White lacquer furniture keeps a bright and clean feel to the space. Set upon a modern televison unit is a large flat screen televison offering a selection of European channels to watch. Alos here you will find the WIFI box and the code is in our house manual. Set between the sofas is a fresh white coffee table and close the the kitchen is a smart white dining table and matching chairs.  The space is open light and very enjoyable as a superb holiday living space. 

From the living space is a breakfast bar departing the room from the kitchen but providing a great place to sit and enjoy the cook at work. 

At the front of the living space is huge sliding French glass windows that really help to make the room feel much bigger and allow the wonderful Algarve sunlight in to the room. These windows are dressed with smart matching curtains in green and cream and offer shutters to keep the room nice and cool during the hot summer months. The French windows lead on to a fabulous private terrace that overlooks the resort swimming pool. 


Located just to the right and to the front of our penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms is the galley style kitchen. A super practical breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the living room and a glass door gives access to the terrace and roof terrace.  Along one wall is a section of fitted kitchen units including eye level and under counter cupboards along with set of drawers full of cutlery and cooking utensils. We have made sure the kitchen is well stocked with anything you might expect to find in a homely family kitchen. 

We have also added a kettle, toaster and Dolce Gusto capsule coffee machine. Fitted appliances include a gad hob and fitted electric oven along with a smart home overhead extractor. A fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave too. Set just on the terrace by the kitchen door is a washing machine too. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Set to the left of the front door and overlooking a nice quiet cobbled side street is the bedrooms and bathrooms. 

The master bedroom offers a kingsize bed within a spacious bedroom. Overhead is a modern, efficient air conditioning unit offering cool or warm features depending on the time of year you stay with us.  Each side of the bed is matching beds cupboards and  lamps.  Large fitted wardrobes with sliding doors offer plenty of space to store your holiday clothes. 

A glass door with shutters leads on to a small balcony and takes in the morning sun so great for that morning coffee and maybe a read of the morning paper!

We make sure the beds are made with fresh clean white crisp linen and we offer bath and hand towels along with beach/pool towels too. 

The en suite bathroom is located just as you enter the master bedroom and offers a wonderful full size bath and an overhead shower. A basin is set into a smart vanity cupboard with plenty of space to store your toiletries and cosmetics below. To finish the room you also have a toilet and bidet and in super fresh and clean white ceramic. 

The second bedroom is our wonderful penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms offers 2 large single beds.  Both made with fresh an crisp laundered linen and laid out with towels for you to use. In the center is a bedside table and lamp.  At one end of the bedroom is another set of fitted wardrobes and at the other is a glass door with shutters leading on to another small balcony that captures the morning sun. 

The bathroom is set with a large shower cubicle, basin and toilet and is right next to the second bedroom.

Private Terraces

Apartment Petunia has the added luxury of 2 private terraces to enjoy the gorgeous Algarve sunshine whilst relaxing. 

French windows open up form the living room and kitchen on to a large enclosed terrace that overlooks the centre of Cabanas beach Club and the resort swimming pool. This terrace is the perfect choice for al fresco living as it is once and close the the kitchen. With this in mind we have placed an outside dining table and chairs so you can make the most of this fabulous space. 

An iron stair case leads to the private roof terrace and here this makes for a perfect sun trap. Set high above the resort it is a peaceful and relaxing private spot to enjoy a lazy day of doing nothing! To allow you to make the most of this Roof top heaven we have added some sun loungers for you to sunbathe, chill and maybe read that holiday novel. 

The roof terrace also offers some great views to the sea and Cabanas beach Club is just one block away form the se front of Cabanas Village. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Running right through the centre of Cabanas Beach Club are beautiful, well maintained gardens  with a wonderful beds laid to local plants and lawns, that offer a quieter relaxing area to enjoy. Set at one end of the complex is a large salt water swimming pool. The swimming pool is great for guests of all ages as its has nice easy steps to a gentle sloping shallow end, so perfect for bathing, then at the other is a deep end for those who might like to swim. 

The resort is totally enclosed and around the perimeter is gates to allow access to the complex by guest only alls et with locking doors and code access. 

Running underneath the resort is a large underground car park with allocated parking for each apartment. Access is only gained via use a a key pad or remote control locks. The list in each building also run down to the car park and from hers you can also access the pool and gardens without having to leave the complex. 


Our wonderful penthouse apartment with 2 bedrooms offers simply perfect facilities for those wishing to ahem a great self catering holiday any time of the year. The furniture is modern and practical and offers comfortable living. The apartments has great wifi access and up to date, efficient air con units thats can offer warm or cool air to the penthouse depending win the time of year you visit us. The slat water pool and underground secure parking are great features. 

As the penthouse is located just one block back form the sea front there can often be sea views and everything is just a flat shore walk way. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Access to the gardens and swimming pool of which the apartments all surround is either by using the lift to give direct access or via the gates situated around the complex and accessed via a key code that only residents access to. The complex is rectangular in shape and one end is the pool area with a large pool surrounded by Santa Catarina style tiles. The pool tiles are traditional the Azul blue tiles and is salt water so really soft an lovely on the skin especially for children. There is a selection of sun loungers for the use of residents and some parasols. The rest of the complex has really well kept grass areas and flower beds making it an attractive and pleasant place to be.

Underground is the facility to park a car keeping it cool in the summer months. Also the garage provides easy access to the secluded gardens and shared swimming pool.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

    “Espaço muito agradável. Boa localização. Anfitrião disponível.”A estadia correu lindamente. Mas algumas coisas poderiam ter sido melhores.... tivémos muita dificuldade em utilizar o elevador para descer para a garagem (o painel não estava a funcionar em condições). Tivémos necessidade de pedir algumas coisas de cozinha (toalha de mesa, panos de loiça, molas de roupa e pegas). A cozinha deveria ter mais utensílios: tacho grande, escorredor de massa... são coisas simples mas que fazem falta numa cozinha. Problemas sérios com formigas (tivemos que pôr produto quase todos os dias). Estas são algumas notas mas queremos salientar que correu tudo bem. Estes poderão ser apenas alguns aspetos a melhorar. O anfitrião foi sempre disponível. Obrigada

    El apartamento es fantástico, muy bonito, amplio y bien equipado. No le falta ningún detalle. Además, dispone de plaza de garaje con ascensor. La señorita Olga, nos atendió fenomenal el día de nuestra llegada y nos dió todo tipo de explicaciones. Cabanas de Tavira y por lo extensión, toda la zona de Tavira y alrededores, es un lugar precioso, con playas fantásticas y mucho encanto.
