Apartment Mel is a fantastic 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms located within the very popular resort of Cabanas Beach Club. Nice and close to the seafront and amenities this apartment is in a great location. Extra facilities include WIFI, air conditioning and access a a great swimming pool.

Apartment Mel is a fabulous 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms. It sits on a corner plot and overlooks the communal swimming pool. The resort, Cabanas Beach Club is a great report of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments all at low level and just one block back from the sea front. 


This wonderful 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms is set within the popular complex of Cabanas Beach Club. Each block hold 6 apartments over 3 floors. A secure door with a local and intercom facility also access from the street to the lobby. A few steps lead to a lift to access upper floors and the garage. Stairs can also be used to access the upper floors. 

The private front door to the ope has a spy hole and a 5 lever lock and opens up into the wonderful large open plan living space. 

Living Space

The open plan living area of this 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms offers party of space to enjoy. As you enter a natural pine table and 4 chairs are set to the back of the space and well placed for easy access from the kitchen and breakfast bar. 

Towards the front of the space is a soft dark brown fabric sofa and footstool and a contrasting cream arm chair to compliment the space. In the centre of the room is a matching natural pine coffee table and set in the cornet against the wall is a tv unit.  Set on the unit is a flat screen televise offering a selection of European channels for all to enjoy.

The place is decorated with a very natural feel. Delicate cream curtains surround huge floor to ceiling sliding French windows that had on to an amazing balcony that overlooks the swimming pool. 


Set to the right of the front door of the 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment is the kitchen, set in a galley style and with a breakfast bar.  The fitted appliances include a full size fridge freezer, a fitted electric oven, gas hob and a smart made overhead extractor an stylish chrome and a dishwasher.   We have also added a microwave, kettle, toaster and a capsule coffee machine. Just outside on the terrace is a washing machine too. The kitchen is a modern fitted kitchen and in the cupboards and drawers you will find them well stocked with crockery, cutlery  and plenty of cookings utensils, pots and and serving dishes. 

We have enjoyed making the kitchen a proper working family kitchen as you would expect at home ad Cabans has a daily fresh produce market and it seems a shame t+not to take full advantage f the fresh local produce and locally caught sea food Cabanas de Tavira offers. 

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The bedrooms and bathrooms are situated to the left of the front door.  The master bedroom is a fabulous space and offers a nice large double bed with matching natural pine bedside cupboards with matching lamps. Underneath is plenty of space to store that holiday novel. Overhead is a modern air conditioning unit thats can create fresh cool air in the hot summer months and can also produce warm cosy air in the cooler winter months. 

A glass door with shutters leads on to a small balcony. Fitted wardrobes with sliding doors add the all needed space to store your holiday clothes. 

This master bedroom has the wonderful feature of an en suite bathroom thats offers a full size bath with an overhead shower, a toilet bidet and basin set into a smart vanity unite with plenty of storage below and a lovely large mirror overhead. 

The twin bedroom in our 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms offers 2 comfortable single beds. In the centre is a natural pine bedside cupboard with storage for those holiday books and items. Overhead is that all important air conditioning unit and against one wall is the fitted wardrobes. 

The same as the master bedroom there is a glass door thats leads on to a small balcony.  These balconies are great for an early evening glass of wine and perfect for watching the amazing Algarve sunsets.

The bathroom is right next door to the twin bedroom and offers a nice large shower cubicle, toilet and a stain wit a super large mirror above the sink. 

Private Terraces

Apartment Mel our fantastic 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms offers a wonderful outside space to enjoy. Leading from the living space via huge sliding French windows is an exceptionally large balcony that overlooks the swimming pool and terraces of Cabanas Beach Club. To make sure you fully enjoy the balcony we have added an outside dining table and chairs.  This spot is simply perfect for some al fresco dining and a place to enjoy a morning coffee or an aperitif before heading out for an evening in one of the local restaurants offering locally produced food and a good price. 

Each bedroom offers s small balcony that takes in Cabanas and the mountains behind the Village.  These take in the evening sun and are perfect to sit and enjoy watching the sun go down and the wonderful sunsets.

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Cabanas Beach Club is a great resort for a holiday with us any time of the year. Apartment Mel enjoys some great facilities here.  The swimming pool is salt water and a refit size for the complex. At one end is gentle steps into the pool and a shallow area the is slopes gently t a deeper part just great for swimmers.  Around the pool is traditional tiled floor and the Condo Company has provided a selection on sun loungers and parasols for everybody to enjoy. 

Through the centre of the resort is gardens laid to lawns and shrubs with cobbled paths making for quiet areas to relax. Around the complex thats is completely enclosed is gates thats can be used to access the gardens and pool and etc gate is coded for security. 

Under Cabanas Beach Club is a huge underground secure car park thats can be used by guests. 


This 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment enjoys a higher floor level and balconies to enjoy al fresco living. This is a wonderful modern apartment and as such has great facilities. Each room offers an efficient air conditioning unit.  They each provide wonderful fresh cool air in the ht summers months but also can be operated t pride warm cosy air in the cooler evenings on the winter months. This feature really makes Apartment Mel a great place to stay any time of the year.

Wifi is fitted and can be used in every room, this also means you can stream your favourite programmes and other internet based entertainment work if you really have to!

Shutters over the windows help towards keeping the apartment cool and dark, again a great summer time feature. The kitchen is modern with up to date facilities.   

Cabanas beach Club is just one block from the sea front and close to shops, boats to the beach and cafes. You will find taxi ranks close by along with Uber, bus stops and even walking distance to a train station. 

Our lovely 1st floor apartment with 2 bedrooms comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Mel. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

Booking your Holiday

To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

Damages Protection

Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with repsect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

Arrival Day

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


Departure Day

We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


Our "All important" Welcome book

Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


Equipment Hire, Car Hire and Transfer Information


Equipment hire for children and babies

We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process. 

We offer the following,

Camp beds suitable for children up to 12 years €5 per night

Travel cots and mattress  €5 per night

High chairs €5 per night.


Bicycle Hire

We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Car Hire

We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

Airport Transfers

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
