Description

Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Gaivina is a beautiful ground floor apartment that faces towards the well kept gardens of Cabanas Beach Club. Close to the pool and easy access to underground secure parking. Facilties include excellent WIFI, a smart tv, air con and access to a perfect swimming pool.

Apartment Gaivina is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment at ground floor level overlooking the gardens and some of the communal pool within the very popular Cabanas Beach Club holiday complex. This 2 bedroom apartment is located on the Rua das Pescadores side of Cabanas Beach Club. 

Entrance

This 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is located in a block of 6 apartments sharing a lift and stairs to the upper floors and garage. Access can only be gained to the vestibule via an intercom system. A few steps lead up to the apartment front door. A solid wooden door with a 5 lever dead lock gives that all important security. The front door of Apartment Gaivina opens up into a large and pleasant open plan living space to enjoy. 

Living Space 

From the entrance door our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment opens up into a large open plan living room with large french sliding window doors opening up onto a huge private terrace overlooking gardens inside the complex. Directly to the right of the front door is a well equipped galley style kitchen with a french door also leading to the terrace and a breakfast bar between the kitchen and living space adding to the freshness and natural light of the room.

A large solid wood dining table and 4 dark leather style high back matching chairs are placed as you enter the living room and nice and close to the kitchen and the breakfast bar. The rest of the room opens up into a great living space with 2 large nut coloured 2 seater sofas in a soft fabric facing towards a new flat screen smart television. In the centre of the living space is a large dark wood coffee table to match the dining table and also the tv unit on which the television stands along with the wifi unit. Modern single chairs in a light being fabric also offer plenty of places to sit and enjoy the space, maybe read a book or listen to some holiday music. 

Our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is tiled with light cream floor tiles and cream walls giving a warm but calm and clean feeling to the same. We have added pictures and ornaments to give colour and texture to the space.  The room offers an efficient and modern air conditioning unit that can supply cool fresh air in the hot summer months and also warm cosy air in the cooler winter months. The windows have sliding shutters to help keep the place cool during the day.

Kitchen

The kitchen at Apartment Gaivina is fitted with modern and up to date appliances, many integral in turn making the kitchen and neat and easy safe in which to create some fabulous meals using fresh produce form the local shops and markets with in easy walking distance. The kitchen offers a dishwasher, full size fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric oven along with a kettle, toaster and capsule coffee machine. 

The contrasting light wood and cream fitted units are stored with plenty of cooking utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery for you to use and you should find plenty there for you. The dark marble work surface offers a clean and smart space to work. We have also supplied an ironing board and iron and a clothes dryer to use. Via the fresh window and just outside the kitchen under the covered area of the terrace is a washing machine. also some cleaning items for you to use during your stay. 

Bedroom and Bathrooms

To the left of the front door of our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment a pretty wood action divides the living space for the area for the bedrooms and bathrooms. 

The master bedroom is a large and pleasant room.  A super comfortable king size bed with a dark wood very chic headboard dominate the room. Each side of the bed is matching bedside cupboards and bedside lamps. In keeping with the rich chocolate and wood colour theme a throw at the end of the bed and cushions add colour and texture to the very comfortable room. Large glass window doors open up onto a small terrace to maybe enjoy a morning coffee. The master bedroom has the added convenience and luxury of an en suite bathroom just as you enter the room. The bathroom is styled and cream and hazelnut brown walls and mosaic style tiles.  The full size bath with overhead shower, toilet, basin and bidet are all smart simple white ceramic giving a good clean feel to the bathroom. In the vanity unit you will find a hair dryer and above the basin is a wonderful large mirror.

The second bedroom offers twin single beds and the room has been styled in bright and vibrant colours. Are wooden headboards keep with the smart chic feel and between the beds is a matching bedside cupboards and lamp.  The room is spacious and can accommodate 2 chairs for a place to sit or hang clothes. This room also has the lovely feature of a glass door leading onto a small balcony. 

The shared bathroom offers the smart cream and hazelnut colouring with a walk in glass shower cubicle, white basin set into a vanity unit with a large mirror above and cupboard space below for cosmetics and toiletries. here, again you will find a hair dryer to use. The bathroom also offers another toilet. 

Each bedroom has a modern and efficient air conditioning unit that can be used in the summer months to provide cool fresh air but also during the cooler winter nights for warmth. The doors leading to the balcony have sliding shutters working to keep the room cool in summer but also nice and dark at night.

Private Terraces

Leading from each bedroom is a small balcony style terrace that overlooks Rua Das Pescadores.  These can make a great early morning coffee spot or a place to sit with a pre dinner drink to watch the sun go down and the simply amazing sunsets we are blessed with in the summer here in the Algarve. 

From the front of the apartment sliding glass doors lead form the kitchen to the private terrace and in this area you will find utilities to include the washing machine and day to day items.

The best way to enjoy the outside space at our 2 bedroom ground floor apartment is by using the huge french sliding windows from the living room that totally open up on to the private terrace enclosed by a small wall and gate. 

On the terrace we have placed a modern glass and chrome table with 4 matching chairs, tis make a perfect spot to enjoy outdoor living all year around, slightly enclosed the terrace can be used all year. The small wall has been planted with local plants to add colour and the gate leads out onto the well kept gardens of Cabans Beach Club. To the left of apartment Gaivina you can see the pool area too. 

Communal spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Apartment Gaivina is a simply stunning 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with the added enjoyments of being located at the very popular Cabanas Beach Club Resort right in the heart of Cabanas de Tavira and nice and close to the sea front shops and restaurants. The swimming pool is slat water so super soft on childrens skin with no harmful chemicals. Around the pool is sun loungers and parasols for use by residents of the complex. 

The gardens in side the complex are a mix of beds with pretty plants to include hibisus and lawns laid the grass. Around the gardens is small calacada paths to enjoy the peace and tranquility the gardens offer. 

In each block is a lift to the upper floors and also to the parking area underground. Apartment Gaivina has an allocated parking space and the garage has 3 different vehicular accesses to choose from.

Apartment Gaivina is a well decorated 2 bedroom apartment great for family holidays or a base from which to enjoy and explore the Algarve and Portugal. being at ground floor level it offer easy access to the pool and gardens. 

Cabanas Beach Club is in a great location within the old fishing Village of Cabanas. Being close to the seafront and promenade along with the local restaurants, access to the beach and train station makes this a great location for those who don't wish to use a car. 

Our lovely 2 bedroom ground floor apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Gaivina. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

     

    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at info@marsalgarve.com.

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

     

    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

     

    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

      

    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
