Apartment Egret is a well furnished first floor apartment at the popular resort Cabanas Beach Club. This fabulous 2 bedroom apartment is at 1st floor level and overlooks the swimming pool.
The main entrance to the block of 6 apartments is form the traditional cobbled side street. Access can only be gained via an intercom system. Once in the foyer of the building there are 6 steps up to a level where 2 lifts to give access to the 1st floor 2 bedroom apartment. Alternatively there is a staircase. Each level houses 2 apartments and consists only of three floors. The main apartment door is solid wood and opens out into a large bright living area with plenty of natural light. A decorative wooden panel divides the living space from the bedrooms and bathrooms.
Our marvellous 2 bedroom apartment offers pleasant living with well thought out furniture and styling. Two plush leather sofas surround a dark wood coffee table, a great practical addition to the area. One sofa faces towards the private terrace and out through the wall to ceiling sliding french windows. The other towards the flat screen television which offers a selection of European channels. The TV sits on a low level dark wood unit which compliments the dining table.
The dining area provides a rectangular dining table and 4 brown leather chairs.
The living space in our 2 bed apartment offers a modern air conditioning unit which keeps the apartment cool in the summer months and can also be used to heat the living space in the cooler evenings of the winter months. It is a perfect apartment for stays all year round. The large french style sliding windows are dressed with white voiles adding a light and airy feel to the room. The windows give access to the private terrace. This apartment also benefits from shutters to all windows which allow it to be kept cool and dark in the hot summer months.
A breakfast bar divides the living space from the kitchen and offers not only a great feature but also opens the whole area up, perfect for socialising with your holiday party.
The well equipped galley style kitchen has a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and extractor fan. A microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine are also included for your use. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and other cooking utensils in cupboards and drawers to enable you to prepare and cook meals during your stay. The kitchen is designed with modern below counter cupboards, a set of drawers and wall mounted cupboards finished with a marble worktop. A french window leads out to the private terrace and here is housed the washing machine.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The master bedroom has a large kingsize bed with an elegant dark wood headboard and base. To each side of the bed are bedside tables with matching lamps. There is also a matching chest of drawers. The wardrobes are fitted with large sliding doors providing ample space for your holiday clothes. This bedroom of the 2 bedroom apartment has modern air conditioning, perfect to keep cool on those hot summer nights, it can be also used to provide warmth for the cooler evenings. A french window leads to a small balcony overlooking the cobbled side street below. This window also has shutters to keep the room cool in the summer months.
The master bedroom in this modern 2 bed apartment benefits from an ensuite bathroom situated to the right of the entrance door of the bedroom. It offers a fill size bath and over head shower, bidet, toilet and basin set into a light wood vanity unit, this provides space below for cosmetics and toiletries. Above the vanity unit is a large wall mounted mirror.
The second bedroom offers twin dark wood framed single beds with matching bedside units and reading lamps. The colour scheme in this bedroom gives a fresh but nautical feel being splashes of blues and greens throughout. The fitted wardrobes with sliding doors offer plenty of stoarge space. The french window looks out to the quiet cobbled side street below. An air conditioning unit offers cool air for the summer months and warmth for the winter.
The shared bathroom adjacent to the twin bedroom has a separate shower cubicle, toilet and basin set into a vanity unit with space for toiletries and a large wall mounted mirror above.
The large sliding french windows from the living room lead straight out onto a sizeable private terrace overlooking the communal swimming pool. The terrace offers a glass topped dining table with 4 chairs and sun loungers to enjoy the Algarve sunshine. This makes for the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco living and the afternoon sun.
Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool
The Cabanas Beach Club complex surrounds private and well kept gardens including areas laid to lawn, delightful traditional cobbled paths lined with shrubs including hibiscus giving a lovely Mediterranean feel. To one end of the complex is a large communal swimming pool with a shallow end that slopes into the deeper part of the pool. The pool area is set with Santa Catarina style tiles and offers a selection of sun loungers and parasols provided by the Condominium Company.
The pool and gardens are accessed either via the lift or via the gates around the complex. These can only be used by residents of the complex and accessed by a key code preserving the exclusivity.
The carpark is in the basement and each apartment has an allocated parking space. The carpark offers both security and the ability to keep your car cool in the summer months.
Apartment Egret is a very charming 2 bedroom apartment that comfortably sleeps four people. It offers easy living and modern features, perfect for an enjoyable holiday at any time of the year. The two bedroom apartment is less than a 10 minute walk to the main town and along the promenade and to the ferry that takes you across to the island beach. Ideally placed on the corner of the street is a shop for all of your essential groceries. Also within short walking distance you will find plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops and also a bus stop and taxi rank should you wish to venture further afield. As everything you need is within walking distance you do not need to hire a car during your holiday.
Our lovely apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Egret. Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.
And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

Booking your Holiday
To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.
30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.
Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.
The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference
Tab 2 Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600. This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday.
We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday.
Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you. We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you. In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.
Our "All important" Welcome Book
Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.
The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys.
We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive.
Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience.
During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book. The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.
Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans
Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us.
To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption.
We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Children and Babies
We can hire a variety of items for your holiday home. Please book any items your require during the booking process.
We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday. We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected. Please click on the link below choose your bikes and accessories, let us know via e mail and we will get it all booked for you.
We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you. We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service.
We can also arrange hire of scooters for you. They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them.
Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site. This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
