Description

Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
A 2 bedroom penthouse apartment newly refurbished in 2019 offers a fabulous private roof terrace with sun loungers, spacious living area with large flat screen TV, excellent wifi, air conditioning and secure parking. Access to a shared swimming pool and gardens. Close to village centre and beaches.

Apartment Cassia is a fantastic penthouse apartment situated on the popular Cabanas Beach Club Complex. It offers a corner location with a view over the swimming pool. Having been completely redecorated in Summer 2019 it offers up to date facilities and furnishings with a wonderful traditional bbq and its own private roof terrace boasting views to the sea. 

Entrance

Cabanas Beach Club is an enclosed and private complex only accessed via key coded gates to the gardens and pool and an intercom system to the apartments foyers. 

Our 2 bedroom penthouse apartment is located on the Rua da Pescadores side of the complex. Entry to the building is either by intercom or a key. The foyer presents large steps to each floor of which there are three.   In addition there is a lift to take you to each floor including down to the garage, pool and gardens. 

The main front door to the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment has a 5 lever lock and is of a solid construction. Once inside, Apartment Cassia opens up into wonderful light and spacious open plan living area. 

Living Space

At the rear of the open plan living area is a large glass dining table of a modern design surrounded by 4 modern dark grey fabric dining chairs with light wood legs. Against the wall is a white lacquer sideboard, perfect for storing those holiday games, books and magazines. 

The walls are bright white and the light coloured floor tiles give the room a bright summer feel. The pictures adorning the walls are traditional to Portugal and give you a true taste of what it has to offer. 

To the front of the living area, overlooking the balcony through the large french style sliding windows, we have created a wonderful space to enjoy with a comfortable black leather sofa and contrasting yellow cushions along with two armchair style seats finished in a  dark grey fabric again with stylish contrasting cushions. A striped rug and blue side tables add a nautical feel to the room. 

A matching television unit has been placed against the wall and on top sits a large flat screen Smart TV. This offers a selection of European channels and the Smart option opens up many other methods to enjoy your favourite TV programmes during your stay. The 2 bedroom penthouse apartment also has strong wifi throughout.

Light blue and white curtains surround the french style windows that run almost the full length of the 2 bedroom penthouse apartment. Shutters also provide a practical option of keeping the living space cool and dark during the day. 

A breakfast bar divides the living space from the kitchen and has a sleek marble top. Overhead is a modern air conditioning unit to keep the living space nice and cool in the fabulous hot summer months. The air conditioning also offers the option to warm the room via the warm air mode making our gorgeous Apartment Cassia a great place to stay any time of the year. 

Kitchen

To the right of the main entry door is a galley style kitchen accessed through its own internal door. The kitchen and living area are divided by a breakfast bar which opens the whole area up. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped and offers all the facilities of a family kitchen. Along one side are a selection of fitted base units and wall cupboards with a set of drawers and a stylish marble worktop providing plenty of space to prepare and cook new recipes. 

You will also find a full size fridge freezer, dishwasher, fitted microwave, brushed chrome gas hob with 4 rings with extractor fan above and a fitted electric oven.   Upon the work surface you will find a kettle, toaster and capsule coffee machine. 

The light wood cupboards hold an array kitchen items to use to include crockery, cutlery, drinking glasses and a great selection of cooking pots and pans, serving dishes and much more. 

We hope that you will enjoy creating some fabulous meals whilst on your holiday making use of the best that the Algarve ihas to offer including the fresh fish and meats along with locally grown produce all of which can be bought at the daily market along the sea front in the village.

Sliding french style windows from the kitchen allow access to the private balcony and hidden under the stairs to the roof terrace is a washing machine and small selection of cleaning utensils. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms.

To the left of the main entry door, overlooking the street below are the bedrooms and bathrooms to our wonderful 2 bedroom penthouse apartment. 

The master bedroom is decorated with cream walls and light ceramic floor tiles and a wall mounted air conditioning unit above the bed.  The bedroom boasts a king-size bed with a soft beige headboard. We have added blue patterned cushions and throws for a splash of colour. 

Each side of the bed has a small table with matching white lamps cimplimenting the central ceiling light. The French windows open up on to a small balcony and have been dressed with flowing light blue voile curtains. Shutters are also fitted here and can be used to make the room dark and cool in the hotter weather. 

On the wall between the ensuite and the bedroom are large fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. These offer plenty of storage space for your clothes and other holiday essentials. 

The master bedroom of our 2 bedroom penthouse apartment has the luxury of a large en suite bathroom.  Styled in a nut brown colour theme with mosaic tiles, the en suite bathroom has a full white suite to include a full size bath and overhead shower, toilet, bidet and a basin set into a modern and functional vanity unit offering plenty of storage in the cupboard below and large wall mounted mirror.

The second bedroom is laid out with two comfortable single beds, both made up with fresh white cotton sheets and the green paradise adds that splash of colour to the room. Both beds have matching light beige headboards and between the beds is a bedside unit with a drawer below and a bright red bedside lamp in keeping with the vibrant style of the room. 

Fitted wardrobes provide more storage space. The French window again opens out onto a small balcony and are fitted with shutters to provide a blackout effect to the room at night. They also help in keeping the room cool during the day. 

This second bedroom in the 2 bedroom penthouse is also fitted with a modern wall mounted air conditioning unit over the beds and can provide fresh cool air in summer or warm comforting air in the winter to make the room cosy on the slightly cooler winter evenings. 

The bathroom is located adjacent to the twin room and offers a shower, toilet, and a basin with mixer tap and set into a vanity unit with a cupboard below, here you will find a hair dryer. 

Private terraces

This fabulous 2 bedroom penthouse apartment offers a large amount of outside space to enjoy. 

From both the living room and kitchen large sliding doors give access to a private balcony that overlooks the swimming pool and well kept gardens of Cabanas Beach Club. 

The balcony offers plenty of space for the large outside dining table and 4 chairs. A traditional brick built Portuguese BBQ has been installed so you really can enjoy the true Algarve lifestyle whilst on holiday. 

An iron stairway lead up to a private roof terrace, perfect for relaxing and sunbathing.  Here you will find sun loungers, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sun with a book and winding down. The sea view across the complex reminds you just how close you are to the beach and ocean beyond. 

Communal Spaces, Gardens and Swimming Pool

Below Apartment Cassia our fabulous 2 bedroom penthouse apartment is the complex swimming pool. Set into a terrace of traditional Santa Catarina tiles the large pool is styled with traditional Azul blue tiling and at one end offers easy access to a shallow area with roman steps, slowly leading to the deeper end. 

Surrounding the pool are sunloungers and parasols for residents to enjoy.

The rest of the centre of the complex is laid to grass and flower beds with small paths in traditional calçada stone. The complex gardens are beautifully maintained and many local varieties of flowers and shrubs can be seen. 

The Cabanas Beach Club Complex is totally enclosed and designed to be enjoyed exclusively by the residents.  Access to the pool and gardens is either by key coded gates from the outside or from the internal secure underground garages. So this is a perfect little haven for relaxed holiday living. 

Apartment Cassia comes with an allocated parking space in the underground garage and there also additional visitors spaces available. 

Facilities

This 2 bedroom penthouse apartment offers exceptional holiday living and is designed to be used all year round making it a great base for any type of holiday.  In the summer it is great for outdoor living and in the winter a perfect base for golfers, walkers, bikers, bird watchers and more! 

Cabanas Beach Club is one block back from the seafront and provides a perfect location. Less than a 2 minute walk away and you will find the board walk that runs the length of Cabanas Village. Along the front are a great selections of shops, cafes and restaurants to enjoy.  At the end of the walk is the ferry for the beaches and some traditional fishing huts at the other. 

This 2 bedroom penthouse apartment offers modern living with air conditioning, excellent wifi, modern furnishings, a traditional BBQ and added space with a private roof terrace. 

Close by are transport links to include a train station, taxi rank and bus stop. Uber is also now very popular. If you like biking then  you could choose to hire bikes and enjoy the Ecovia Trail along the coast.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.

     

    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at info@marsalgarve.com.

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  

     

    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.

     

    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.

      

    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
