Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Sol is a brand new apartment with 2 double bedrooms with kingsize beds within a brand new building completed in 2019. It is right in the heart of Cabanas de Tavira. It offers peaceful holiday living but close to all amenities. Modern facilities include efficient air conditioning and fast wifi.

Apartment Sol is an amazing and brand new built apartment for 2019.  Set at first floor level in a small block of apartments not higher than 3 storeys this apartment is in a quiet and tranquil location. Everything about this two bedroom apartment is totally brand new for 2019 and it has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard. 


This brand new first floor 2 bedroom apartment is set within a newly built complex of apartments.  Access to the buildings is via a front door for each block and once inside the area opens up into a smart lobby space where you will find both stairs and a lift to the upper floors. 

Our Apartment Sol is on the first floor and a sold front door with a bell and intercom open up into a wonderful living space that you will find not only spacious but light and airy. 

Living Space

As you enter our first floor 2 bedroom apartment the space opens up into a pleasant open plan living arrangement. The front door is in the centre of the apartment and faces the large, very attractive wooden table with ultra modern and fashionable chrome and leather style dining chairs. Behind the dining table is huge sliding French windows that lead on to a terrace that runs the length of the apartment. Ays a door that leads not a wider part of the terrace by the kitchen and gives access to a stylish space set with an outside dining table and chairs.

Turn to the right form the front door and we have placed a soft brand new sage green fabric contemporary in style sofa with two ultra modern arm chairs style seats with a colourful meta coffee table and chic reading lamp. Set on a wood effect retro style television unite with sliding cupboard doors below. The flat screen "Smart" television offers a selection of European channels and of curse the smart feature allows you to add Netflix and watch programmes from your tablet. 

Behind the arm chairs and on the same wall as the dining area windows is another set of sliding French windows leading on to the terrace. Both windows are dressed with gorgeous flowing white curtains and each has shutters to keep the rooms cool and private when needed.   


To the left of the front door and located at one end of our brand new first floor 2 bedroom apartment is the kitchen space. Styled in white, glass aqua green splash back tiles and come fittings this modern kitchen is sensational. It is functionals with clean lines and super well equipped with a good variety of utensils, dining and drinking wares.

Fitted appliances include and dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, oven, ceramic hob and a pull out extractor fan. We have also added a kettle, toaster and capsule coffee machine. 

The kitchen slightly extends to the terrace via French windows and provides and nice open space looking onto the terrace for a dining table and chairs to enjoy some al fresco living with a calm and tranquil view. The white circular table and white chairs keeps the modern but retro feel going throughout this first floor 2 bedroom apartment. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Heading to the right end of Apartment Sol and by the living room is the bedrooms and bathrooms. Just on the right of the sofa is a door thats leads to s all hallway and located here is the master bedroom. Keeping with a light sage green and grey curing one wall is decorated in a delicate sage tree to add contract to the room and against it sits a large super kings size divan bed with a fabric great base and headboard. The bed is an exceptionally comfortable bed for all types of preference. You can not fail to just have the best nights sleep here. To each side of the beds is tables and lamps. Then French sliding windows with chic grey fabric curtains and this all important shutters open up on to a Juliet style balcony that offer s evening sunshine. 

Leading from the bedroom is the ensuite bathroom fitted with white appliances against a light stone effect floor and wall tiles feature. Theses include a basin set into a white vanity unit with cupboards and a toilet.  A glass shower cubicle offers a a good flow of water to enjoy. 

In the same hallway is the family bathroom fitted in the same style as the ensuite but with a proper full size baths and overhead shower, basin set in to a white vanity cupboard, bidet and toilet.  Both bathrooms have wonderful large mirrors over the basins. 

The second bedroom offers the same stye super king size bed as the master bedroom and features the same bedside tables, soft furnishings and shutters on the French siding windows. These windows open up onto the terrace that runs the length of our apartment and offers morning sunshine to welcome you to your relaxed holiday.   

Private Terrace

Running the length of one side of our wonderful first floor 2 bedroom apartment is a super terrace designed to capture the morning sunshine. The view overlooks a quiet complex and the mountains behind Cabanas. At one end the terrace is nice and wide and easily fits a dining table and chairs right beside the kitchen and inside dining area. This makes for a very enjoyable place to sit take a coffee or a glass of wine and joy the tranquil and calm warm Algarve sunshine. 

Communal Spaces

Apartment Sol our brand new and super smart first floor 2 bedroom apartment is set within a small and select building of apartments right in the heart of Cabanas. As a resident for your holidays you have access to the lobbies for the higher floors and also an allocated parkings space in the secure underground car park. 


Being a brand new apartment in a  brand new building for 2019 Apartment Sol has excellent, modern and up to date facilities.  Each room has a brand new air condition unit supplied. These units provide either fresh and cool air perfect for the hot summer months or warm cosy air, perfect for the cooler winter evenings. They work ultra fast upon being switched on so no need for them to be left on all evening or all day. The internet is of an excellent speed via WIFI, the television is a smart tv, ht water is on tap 24 hours a day. The building is modern and contemporary with underground parking and lifts. There is also extra off road parking by the building. 

Located in the heist of Cabanas it is less than a 10 minute flat walk to the seafront and boats for the island beach.  Its is easy than a 5 minute walk to the train station, taxi ranks and bus stops. Close by too is plenty of cases restaurants and shops. 

Our lovely first floor 2 bedroom apartment comes with its own manual that you can download to your tablet or smart phone. Packed full of information to make the best of your holiday starting from the moment you arrive. It tells you how to collect the keys, who will look after you during your stay and clear concise directions to Apartment Sol Then it is packed full with details of the best restaurants, taxis and local amenities and activities.  

And of course our managers are on hand to make sure you love your holiday more if you need any advice or tips on the local area they will be more than happy to help.

          Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.

    We had a great stay
    Apartment Sol in Tavaria Cabanas is very nice, fully equipped, and clean. We had a great stay, beautiful balcony and even the sea is visible. The great beach, several  restaurants and shops are also only a 5-minute walk away. We will be back for sure!
