Our properties are cleaned to an excellent standard and all items of any previous guest are removed. This includes all cooking items or hygiene products. This is to comply with Rental Licence and Covid rules for Portugal. As a self catering property we value your privacy and as such do not offer any cleaning service during your stay unless you request the extra paid service with us. To provide the best service for our guests we do provide hand soap and a toilet roll per bathroom. The tap water in all of our properties is fit for human consumption. We offer a selection of hampers at an extra fee and can be seen and chosen during or after the booking process.
Apartment Bica is a super modern apartment with excellent facilities set within a brand new complex finished in 2019. Ultra modern and smart furnishing and great extras to include wifi, air con and secure garage parking. Centrally located within Cabanas de Tavira with everything for a great holiday within easy walking distance.

Apartment Bica is a simply stunning 2 bedroom apartment in a small and quiet building of similar apartments brand new built fo 2019.  This super apartment with excellent modern facilities is located right next door to our other apartment at the complex, Apartment Sol. So they can both be utilised for a 2 family style holiday. 


Our 2 bedroom apartment is at first floor level within the small building and access from the off street parking is via a secure door into a lobby giving access to the apartments. A lift or stairs lead to the upper floors. Apartment Bica has a solid front door that opens up into the spacious and well furnished apartment. 

Living Space

The front door opens into a wonderful living space furnished to a modern and high standard. To the right of the door is a sitting read with 2 ultra modern smart sofas surrounding a flat screen televison set upon a white tv unit.  The television offers a selection of European channels to suit various languages. Set against the wall is a sideboard on black to add texture and colour to the room but more important space to store your holiday belongings. 

Set behind the sofas and close to the kitchen is a modern ding table that can extend along with 4 contemporary dining chairs to match the table. 

Along the longest wall of the 2 bedroom apartment is 2 sets of French floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors giving access to the private balconies. The windows let in an abundance of lovely sunlight giving lots of natural light to the apartment. The windows are fitted with stylish shutters that can be closed during the day to keep the apartment nice and cool in the summer months whilst you enjoy the beach or some sightseeing of our beautiful Algarve. 

Fitted with great modern facilities the living room has superb internet and wifi.  Set not eh wall is a modern and efficient air conditioning unit that can provide either heat or cool depending on when you choose to visit us. 


At the left of the apartment from door is the kitchen space. Fitted with up to date kitchen cupboards in clean, sharp white lacquer the space is neat and offers ultra modern styling. Equipped as any family kitchen would be you will find the cupboards are full of any items you would need to be able to create full family meals. The Algarve has so much wonderful produce to offer.  The fishing boats bring in daily catches of fresh fish and seafood and the local daily market offers a wonderful array of locally grown and seasonal produce. 

Set into the light marble work surface is a sink and ceramic hob with an extractor overhead and a fitted electric oven below.  Behind the kitchen doors is a dishwasher and washing machines and to one end of the kitchen is s stylish inox fridge freezer. 

French windows lead out to a balcony with a dining table and chairs making a perfect spot to enjoy some al fresco living. 

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

A small hallway leads from the living room to the bedrooms and bathrooms making a perfect divide between the living and sleeping areas of the 2 bedroom apartment. 

The twin bedroom is to the left of the hallway and offers 2 single beds set into a fitted bed unit with a fresh white headboard and small bedside tables and fitted lamps each side of the beds.

Along the inside wall is fitted wardrobes hidden behind white sliding doors and along the outside wall is French windows giving access to the balcony that runs the length of the 2 bedroom apartment. That all important air conditioning unit offers cool or heat again making Apartment Bica a fabulous holiday base any time of the year. 

The first bathroom opposite the twin bedroom and is simply stunning with a full size bath set behind a glass screen and fantastic overhead shower.   A modern basin is set into a vanity unit making sure you have space for all your holiday toiletries and cosmetics. The bathrooms aso offers a bidet and toilet with modern and chic fittings in keeping with a brand new and modern space. 

The master bedroom has been styled with a kingsize bed and rich dark grey fabric headboard and each side is smart beside cupboards and matching lamps. As with the twin bedroom you will find fitted wardrobes offering plenty of storage space, an air con unit and fabulous French windows with shutters leading on to the balcony. A simply perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or at night watch the stars in the clear Algarve skies. 

The en suite bathroom for the master bedroom offers a glass surrounded shower cubicle with easy to open sliding doors, a modern white basin set into a floating vanity unit with  super large well lit mirror overhead, then lastly a toilet.  Chrome fittings compliment the modern facilities. 

Private Terrace

Along the whole length of the 2 bedroom apartment is a private terrace just for you to enjoy and soak up the wonderful Portuguese sunshine. The outside walls of the 2 bedroom apartment are a facade of strips of rich wood to give a seaside them to the building the glass balustrades offers light and a very modern contemporary feel to the balcony and makes for a relaxing and enjoyable space. 

At the far kitchen end of the terrace the space is also set back and larger to be ale to offer an outside table and chairs to make the best use of the space. 

Communal Spaces

This fabulous and brand new 2 bedroom apartment is set within a modern building of apartments and has the bonus of security to the building, off road parking spaces, set in a quiet but central location and also secure parking underneath the complex with an allocated parking space for Apartment Bica.

    Booking your Holiday

    To secure your holiday home with us, we ask for a deposit payment of 20% of the holiday price within 24 hours of the booking. As soon as that payment is made we will send an e mail asking for your full details and travel details.

    30 days before your holiday starts we will send you a reminder e mail asking for the final payment for your holiday home.


    Damages Protection

    Marslgarve LDA operates a Breakages insurance scheme for any accidental damages and breakages during your stay with us.

    The non-refundable Damage Protection Fee of €10 per guest protects you from being charged for accidental property damage that may occur during your stay with us. Cover is up to the value of €500. All we ask is that you treat our homes with respect and should any accidental damage occur you inform us immediately by contacting us at

    Methods of Payment

    On the payment page you will find two tabs.

    Tab 1 Euro bank details, this is for you to be able to make a bank transfer. This is not automated. Please use the bank details given within your bank account to make the transfer and send a confirmation slip giving the booking reference

    Tab 2  Within our website we have a secure payment method for card payments. Please sue this tab if you wish to pay by card.

    Arrival Day

    We set the arrival time at your holiday home to be any time after 1600.  This is to allow us time to prepare the holiday home for you. We are extremely flexible in that we will try and prepare the holiday home to coincide with your flight arrival time. But we can not guarantee this will happen. We are also happy to allow you leave baggage at the holiday home whilst the property is being prepared allowing you to get the most out of your holiday. 

    We ask that you carefully read the holiday home manual we will send you before the start of your holiday, as this contains all the contact information of the Manager who will be meeting you and looking after you during your holiday. 

    Our Manager will be expecting a telephone call from you on arrival day. The Manager will only attend the property after that phone call in readiness to meet you.  We do not have a reception and each guest is met personally. If we have more than one client at once arriving we will let you know and ask that maybe you give us a little time. Maybe pop for a coffee and we can call you when we are ready to meet you. Our Manager will like to spend some time with you explaining how appliances work in the holiday home and let you know about the local area and will be happy to answer any questions you might have.  


    Departure Day

    We set the departure time at 1000. We ask for your departure details or plans once you leave us. This way we can schedule our holiday home preparation for the next guest just like we did for you. If we can offer a later stay during the winter months we will try and accommodate you.  In the Summer months due to the high volume of guests we have to strictly adhere to the 1000 departure time at the latest.


    Our "All important" Welcome Book

    Before the start of your holiday we will send you our online Guest Welcome Book which is packed with everything you need to know about your holiday Home and the local area.

    The book gives you all of the meeting arrangements, directions and how to get the keys. 

    We have tried to give you a real insight and help you to plan your holiday before you even arrive. 

    Our online Guest book is compatible with smart phones and tablets meaning you can take the guest book with you where ever you go to maximise your holiday experience. 

    During your holiday if you find places not in the book you would like to recommend to future guests please do let us know and we would love to add them to our book.  The idea is to offer a great book that guests find useful.


    Hampers and Mid Stay Cleans

    We have an arrangement with a superb local Bike Hire Company and can arrange for bicycles to be delivered to your holiday home either before your holiday starts or during you holiday.  We can also arrange for the bikes to be collected.     Car Hire

    We can take the stress out of car hire for you by booking in advance for you.  We have chosen a small local Company to supply our hire cars. They will be at the Airport to meet you personally rather than you having to find a shuttle bus to the larger hire car Companies or waiting in huge queues with a horrible and impersonal service. 

    We can also arrange hire of scooters for you.  They can be delivered at your holiday home and collects after your holiday is over.

    Airport Transfers

    We use a fantastic local Company, Sunline Transfers. The Company has built a super reliable and excellent Airport transfer service and we are proud to be connected with them. 

    Please ask for a quote and we will arrange the transfers via our Company login to their site.  This means there will be no waiting around at the Airport as the driver will be in Arrivals waiting for you. There will be no trying the explain the location of your holiday home as the driver will already know where to go. The driver will even call our Managers in advance for you so they can be at the holiday home ready to meet you.
